MK808 "all models" Finless 1.7

I guess I was wrong saying I flashed identical devices with finless 1.7 - I assumed they are identical, because I have received several devices in one order, and looks like there are two different models. I just opened those that took finless 1.7, and yes, they are not the same.

I,m a big 3D & surround sound fan.I,m using you 1.6 Rom on my Tronsmart mk908 II machine.
Here is my problem:when using XBMC video output is lower than 1366X768 which is the minimum requirement for obtaining a 3D experience on my 3d tv set.1920x1080 would be even nicer.
Is there a way to obtain at least 1366x768 in your Rom?

P.S.I have audio 5.1 passthrough enabled for XBMC and Mx player....so I'm not hurying to switch to kitkat as some advise me.

Can't you just change the output to 1080p in display settings?

It's already done!
My tv reports 1900x1080.So.....somewhwre it's an upscaling done.
As I red XBMC reports the real video resolution the system alouds.
Maybe I'm wrong.
Any other ideas?

Just to clear:
System interface works at full hd resolution...but video playback is not hd [at least with xbmc s video player]...not even close!

Okay, then you have to search for a special 1080p kernel. But you are in the wrong sub-forum if you have a mk908II

No, sry. I am an expert on mk808b but i know nothing about mk908II. But a quick google search showed that it is a rk3188 stick, this is the rk3066 area. So for a start, head over to the rk3188 forum on freaktab and search for your device.

Can anyone comment on whether this works? I've been on Finless 1.7 for a while and the box is being a bit slow now so I'd like to update to something. Googling MK808 + Kitkat doesn't get anything much so I'm curious about this rom.

hi all i have tried this rom plus others on my mk808 non b china clone but wifi does not work probably because its a realtek wifi chip any suggestions on a diffrent kernel to go with this rom or another rom im really struggling to find a working rom.

I'm in the same boat. Prahjister kindly sent me a ROM for the non-B to test that seems very fast and the wifi seems to work (had a drop out here and there but that could always happen). It freezes all the time though, for me anyway, so I can't use it.
