For what it's worth, I reloaded CWM recovery, and then loaded up the framework file. I get an error that it cant mount e, and then that it installed successfully. In file explorer, I noticed that the file was not copied over, so it failed.

I manually copied it, but it doesnt seem to fix chrome.

I know for a fact that on the other rom I had tried, it did fix chrome. Maybe if you place the files in the right spot, it will fix it, but I couldnt get the patch to work properly on Riley Rom.

Everything in the rom seems to be running well. I've not run into any problems at all yet.

EDIT: I uninstalled and reinstalled the Chrome update, and it is working now. This was after copying framework.jar from the file I referenced in the PM to the system folder at root.

Thanks for the info. I'll try to add that to the next update.

I may be having a bluetooth problem. I did a bunch of app loading yesterday, so I'm going to reflash and make sure before I say it really exists.

I turn bluetooth on and then after a few seconds, the toggle goes back to off. The thing I like best about your rom is frankly the 2 gig user app loading space...

Re: Pipo U1 Pro RileyROM 1.0

If you would like more app space...4, 6, or 8gb...I can do some different parameter files. Just let me know.

Yep, bluetooth is not working in your rom. I flashed back to stock, tried bluetooth, no problems. Reflashed your rom, and it got hosed again.

2 gig is great btw. I'm content as far as that goes, as I think most people would be.

I didn't realize how useful it was!

Thanks for testing that. I'll do some checking.

Which version of the stock rom are you using?

The reason I ask this is that the Pipo site has firmware in 2 different areas. The main, official page has a version that was released on 12/22/12 and another that was released on 1/16/13. I think the January release was what I based my ROM on, but it isn't in an official area.

Gotcha. Guess I'm using the Jan release too then, eh?

Looks like my titanium backup got hosed in my back and forth rom loading, so I'll be around for a while reloading apps if you find any fixes.

I went to both pages which showed different release dates of the firmware. But when I download it shows the January release.

I'm just trying to figure out if the January firmware was broken, or if I removed the Bluetooth app by accident.

Since I deleted my work files, I will start over from scratch and build a new rom from this January firmware. We will see if that fixes the problem.

Awesome. Hopefully I'll have a good titanium backup by then

OK, here is a link to the new ROM. If it works for you, I'll post a new thread for it.

                              Download

BTW, here is a link to download a CWM Recovery for the U1 Pro from FUN. I didn't include it in the kit.

If you want, just extract the recovery.img from the zip file and place it in the RileyROM folder in place of the stock recovery.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot. - My initial test will just be bluetooth, then I'll try everything else if that goes well (ie, restoring my apps and actually using it)
