    Sounds like a good plan.

Thought I had bricked it when I saw your new splash logo on boot... It's distorted for a little while, then it is fine, but rotated 90* like portrait.

That's strange. I thought I used the same splash I used last time.

I didn't brand the kernel yet.

        What is the resolution?

          Device resolution is 1280x800.

Your original splash was a badge with freaktab written on it. This one looks like a star trek kinda thing with a pulsating red light and pipo u1 pro written up top zooming in and out...

Also, fwiw, when I erase nand, it counts to 4096, not 2048.

Try this...reflash using the parameter file from my first Rom.

Also, only getting 1 gig of internal storage with this one. Bluetooth is working now though.

Tried old parameter file, still said 4096 on nand wipe ( realizing these probably aren't related), flashing rom now.

EDIT: Noticed several parameter text files that are in this zip that werent in the last one.

Storage is fixed now with that parameter file, at 2 gigs.

Re: Pipo U1 Pro RileyROM 1.0

Sounds like I need to do some new parameter files from the stock ROM.

It will be later...going out to eat with my family. Once I get started it will be quick. I have to reboot my PC into Linux to grab that file...but I'm downloading two new firmwares for other tablets in Windows right now. It's all quite a process.

No worries, I'm getting ready to leave myself to go get dinner and do some lawnmower repair for a friend. Thanks for your help today, and I look forward to whatever you have in store next.

                  Cheers

OK, here is a complete ROM kit that is updated.

I made all new parameter files and branded the kernel.

I'm a little delayed, might be a day or two longer. I'm testing some android apps for a couple of devs at the moment, so I didn't want to wipe the tab just yet.

                            I flashed 1.1...

It was only 1 gig app partition, and also, same deal with the splash screen.

                            Kernel version says 3.0.8+ root@lzj-desktop #201
SMP PREEMPT Sat Dec 29 16:00:10 CST 2012
                            Version says Build number RK30_ANDROID4.1.1-SDK-v1.00.00

I think we had better results making the change with 1.0 - also, was this supposed to have the updated framework jar?

                            here is the splash screen:

                              Ok I'll look at it.

The boot animation must be the wrong size. Does it go ahead and boot after that?

                                Yes, it boots.

                                3. android
