OLD - Minix Neo X5 Finless Custom ROM 1.2b

Hi all,
I don't remember if it is possible to control the minix with this rom from an android smartphone.
Some month ago it's seems to me I was able to to that, but i changed my smartphone and i lost the app
Or maybe I'm wrong ?

If I recall correctly, this ROM will only work with the original version of the Rockchip remote - if that's what you are talking about. Look on the Minix download pages at the entries "MINIX Android Remote App".

Personally, I find that app pretty worthless - especially when compared to DroidMote on the Play store. Of course, the server portion to run on your Minix costs a little money. But it is well worth the price in my opinion.

What is different about this that it wont let me run the XBMC for minix? It comes up says sorry this xbmc is for minix devices only and shuts off.
How do i get xbmc to run with this rom? Or do i just do the 4.2.2 firmware from minix?

I use Kasty rom (rooted) and Minix XBMC is working great on it

I use the vanilla XBMC for Android. But the only addons I use are 1channel and Icefilms.
