@hocuspocus69
I want to expand the apps memory from 2GB to 4GB. When I click on the attachments you posted, there is nothing under _4GB ( in fact, only the scatter file for _2GB_8GB is found, there is nothing for all the other options).

So hocuspocus69 (or other knowledgeable members!), I'm a newbie to the MediaTek world, and just received a Teclast T98 32GB for a family member. Because the tablet is new, it has nothing to backup and neither do I care about installing TWRP recovery because this tablet is not for me. But before I begin setting up the tablet, I do want to increase the user data partition to 8GB because 2GB is quite small. Anyway, I've just downloaded the stock v1.03 firmware from Teclast, and unpacked it. Supposing I just replace the "MT6752_Android_scatter.txt" file there with your "MT6752_Android_scatter_8GB.txt", and flash directly, will this simply enlarge the user data to 8GB after flashing? I am guessing so, but since I am completely new to the MediaTek world, I'm just exercising due caution! Or would I still have to include your step 6, i.e. "Make a Wipe Factory RESET to finish resizing partition" to finalize things? Thanks in advance for the guidance!
