Incidentally, does anyone know what's happening with the Grid games system? Is it becoming a paid subscription as it's free just now. It works amazingly well on this box through my 50mb net connection, it's stunningly good.
i'd like to know this as well. but i'm afraid the free will go away if i ask.. lol

I downloaded the stable build and New adventure island. I then went into shader options and applied shadr. It runs fine as far as I can tell although Ive never used RetroArch before so might be doing something wrong. All plays fine and smooth though when I had a go.
And Retroarch had no issues recognizing the Nvidia Shiel Controller either?

Excellent. So it plays smooth even with the sabr shader? New Adventure Island is a good game to test because you can check the background as the character is running and see if you notice stutter or sometimes micro freezes.
And Retroarch had no issues recognizing the Nvidia Shiel Controller either?

With the shader it looks 10x better
These should be your video settings. For refresh rate you can try to match the OS reported refresh rate. Or tey setting it to 60 or 60.05. If The shield can handle these settings. It's indeed very fast. Try to choose the sabr shader from this video menu. Try v1.1 and v3.0
