        Nice review :-)

Incidentally, does anyone know what's happening with the Grid games system? Is it becoming a paid subscription as it's free just now. It works amazingly well on this box through my 50mb net connection, it's stunningly good.

Sorry the nightly builds seem to have many issues, if you don't mind can you try the stable release instead?

Im afraid its going by the end of june. It will become a 2 tear games grid, 1 for lower end games & the other for the top end games. Its going to be subscription baste after june. You will pay a higher fee for the aaa, Grid. Lower for the lower end games.

Nooooooooo! Wonder how much it will be, I would take a £40 a year PSN type of set up But it'll probably be £10-15 a month or similar.

I downloaded the stable build and New adventure island. I then went into shader options and applied shadr. It runs fine as far as I can tell although Ive never used RetroArch before so might be doing something wrong. All plays fine and smooth though when I had a go.

From what I here, Its going to be inline what ps4 & xbox1 servers charge. Just what iv heard. If its android based, which it is, a VPN should work. I have not had much to do with lollypop like.

You see, The reason that its for nothing at the minute is, its still in the Beta stage. I wood like to be able to try a game before you purchased the game any way. Just to be sure it worked OK.

Excellent. So it plays smooth even with the sabr shader? New Adventure Island is a good game to test because you can check the background as the character is running and see if you notice stutter or sometimes micro freezes.

And Retroarch had no issues recognizing the Nvidia Shiel Controller either?

Yeah, seems to be fine seems to play OK. The Shield is so powerful I'd be surprised if it didn't play to be honest. Here's a video I've recorded and uploaded of it. I think what I've done is correct.....

Odd the box is not seeing the sabr shader. There you are playing with no shader, just with bilinear filtering so it runs super fast. You pick your shader from the android menu of retroarch. I will try to make a video as well.

With the shader it looks 10x better

These should be your video settings. For refresh rate you can try to match the OS reported refresh rate. Or tey setting it to 60 or 60.05. If The shield can handle these settings. It's indeed very fast. Try to choose the sabr shader from this video menu. Try v1.1 and v3.0
