    BTW I'm using the ROM I modified myself. I don't have a fully working Tornsmart remote yet. Just the Power Button works but I use a different remote for the Box. But I'm pretty sure Kodi is working at 1920x1080 if the video is 1080P
    Press "o" in kodi. 1080p works fine in kodi and mx player. I have uploaded a zip file with screenshot to the other thread. The picture upload on freaktab sucks.

      1080p works here. Mod can you delete the picture attached at the bottom? I can't delete it and it shows small.

          ui looks definately like it is being scaled up from 720p and not true 1080. antutu and kodi shows the true resolution 720p. Looks like it is working for some people. I might give it a shot on a definately TV. Currently testing on a 1080p computer monitor. I've never actually encountered any box firmware that would not work with this computer monitor.

            I tried it on a HDTV TV same. My TV does say 1080p 60hz yet antutu and kodi says 1280x720p and the image looks scaled up to 1080p

                  i made a typo on my first post.
                  persist.sys.disp_density=240 is right, not 1240!

                  i changed it now.

                        Awsome. Thanks works great now. Tried I few settings myself but couldn't get the right build.prop settings to enable the 1080p. Your instructions it works fine now.

                        Missed that somehow. Now time for more testing.

                            Does this mean if I connect to 720 display, 1080 display and 4k display I have to alter the build.prop to get the correct output resolution? The Settings->display value does not really mean much?

                              I always had persist.sys.disp_density=240

                              Maybe that's why 1080P always worked for me. Except in YouTube. The max resolution I can choose there is 720P

                                No, just remove ro.hwc.sysrsl=5 and you should be fine.
                                If you set it to 10, 1920x1080 will be forced.

                                Density is just for scaling the ui. It has no effect on the output resolution.
