It been while between drinks and v1.8 is final here and being upload as we type away so to speak, most folks won't get an email till later today or tomorrow so please do not pm as yet that you have not received the link etc. few new features within the ROM, is built on June's SDK. When you receive the link please test and post any issues or finding by posting here at freaktab.

Hi JustMe,

Just install this on top of JustMe1.5v3d on my M6 V.98 box ( one of the originals) and notice few issues:

1) No Sound, tried the different out-put setings ( HDMI Passthrough, SPDIF, PCM , No USB Audio) with an HDMI cable and still not working..

2) There is no power button on the task bar with options to sleep the box. Box will power on/off with the power button on the
button on the remote or with CEC to the TV , but does so from a cold-start not sleep.

3) CIFS mounts to an empty folder still (I use an app - CIFS Manager) .

Have some question regarding to v1.8
1. How can I remove the icons was added on "Add to Common.."?
2. How can I remove the apps icon was added on "Kodi Media center"?
3. How can I add the city, state to weather?
These is couple issues founded
1. No highlight on ethernet symbol (top/right), after RJ45 connected, but WiFi does
2. Disabled but bottom status bar still appearing...@Main display
3. My device doesn'the work yet?

Going back to V1.5 for now...

M8 or M8N doesn't matter, here is toothpic method...
Insert toothpic into A/V hole
Connect power......STB (set top box) will boot into
Menu of firmware flash,
Delete customs data and partitions...
Insert SD had fw v1.8
Select "Ext...."
Then follow up screen, you will have a clean, brand new box with v1.8

M8N install went well, as the rest of JM's prior ROMs.
Initial findings:

1) Custom Remote App worked.
2) CyberGhost loads and protects.
3) Audio output to both HDMI & SPDIF is a nice touch.
4) Cannot reboot into Recovery by either Application (Quickboot) or by toothpick method.
5) Cannot write to SD Card.
6) Cannot uncover the bottom toolbar.

Not being able to get into recovery locks the box. Not a big issue at this time.

(a) Can some else test this and verify

(a) Fixed the menubar down the bottom - power wake up is work in progress worse case senario you can use wake me up scottie app i created.
