I received the download links, thanks. Tryed the 1.8 ROM and had the same problem as others, since there was no recovery img in the 1.8 download I had to use one from another package. But after that the update went fine. Had the same problem with my sound as another user. But it seemed like the setting was only saved after an reboot. So ifyou have problems with the sound then reboot after you have changed the setting.

Apart from this the ROM is stable and I did not have any crashes so far with the New Kodi Isengard running. Way better then the old finless 1.8 ROM I was using.

I can not install Spotify using the Playstore since it is not compatible. Anyone that knows why, and is there a workaround?

not sure then tda send box back to manufacture or where you bought it from or ask them to send you stock firmware and i can check it when i get time

Reflex upgrade your playstore and google play services should fix your spotify or get spotify from aptiode

I dont know what is a original firmware, only have photos del Pcb for if is posible idetification of firmware.thanks

When I use the Setting/build trick in the Playstore it says there is no update (current version is 5.7.10) and I also can not update Google play services. Any other ideas?

I installed it from Aptiode for now.

Thanks again for this great build. It made me trust in the M8N again as it is stable. No kodi crashes so far, and I had multiple crashes before this ROM.

all my roms are based on original m8 roundish remote if the remote functioning properly don't bother with remote update its only if you have different remote

I thought the same, since the remote worked like a charm. Untill I wanted to turn the M8N off The off button was not working and therefore I ran the Remote update. SO if you want to be 100% sure everything works, then just run it. It only takes some seconds.

Never thought there could be something wrong hardware wise? If I see your posts in this forum then you do not have Wifi with any firmware.

Yeah, everything works on my remote except the standby.

The remote updater tool doesn't appear to function. I select the remote, hit install, and nothing. Any ideas?
