I hate to look the gift horse in the mouth, but is there a way to limit the pixel´s movement to like a 5x5 grid in the upper left or bottom left of the screen? I am thrilled that you wrote this, either way. I tip my hat to you sir.
Edit: nevermind, can´t seem to see it anyways.
2nd Edit: The first version you put up for download works great with my setup... your revised one not as well.. at least from what I can tell. I like the taskbar icon though so you know for sure it´s running. Not sure if it´s just me or if there´s some problem with the 2nd release....
also if there was a way to make this start up the cursor thing as soon as the app was run that would be cool... could put it in my startup somewhere that way maybe... Or like an app that just starts doing it´s thing and gives you the taskbar icon so you don´t have the first screen to get out of your way either.. Just thinking of ways to build the functionality of this app into a rom and have it start doing it´s thing right when the rom starts. Still learning. Just offering suggestions but feel free to pay no attention lol.
Thank you!Last edited by hoabycsr; 06 July 2013, 08:11.If my work benefits you and you want to help out the cause, feel free to

Here's a quick final release while we wait for an actual fix for the video problem. From what I see it's very close... let's keep our fingers crossed...
This update allows you to change the time b/w each thread. It's set by default at 1 milli which is what it was on the first release with very good results. I also added a Test button which will render a red dot instead so you can see and test what it's actually doing.
To Run: Tap on the Start button.
To Test: Tap on the TEST button
Adjust the number of millisecs using the text field (0-10) if needed. The values 0-2 seem to work best on my MK908.

Yeah it definitely puts an extra load on the CPU so it's def not a permanent solution. My mk908 still gets hot without the program... try playing the same video for the same time without it, I get reboots sometimes as well. Hopefully something the new SDK will fix as well.
Originally posted by BillMaudit View Postbiorium, I tried your fix yesterday, and while working, my mk908 was burning after 20 minutes then reboot, so I think it's not the definitive solution. Maybe the kernel solution that strauzo finds but doesn't want to share is better.

One little favour to ask though... please give the app an icon.. looks like an ugly duckling sat there without one.
cheers

Hello all, i have purchased MK908 for watching videos on TV with XBMC. I have choose MK908 because of its powerful components. But after i have tried it myself and red complains about it i have understand it wasn't correct choice for it.
Video playbacks are very poor. especially 1080p videos. I have tried official latest, finless latest and also K-R42 kernel too, transparent pixel solution didnt work well for me. I have saw best performance with Gplayer but it has LOW fps on HD videos. XBMC is barely working to play hd videos.
Also other problems; restarts itself sometimes, freezes, slow wifi download performances etc...
What you all suggest? Should i return it to seller or waiting for a (SDK 2.0) firmware solution?
