You can use only 1 Drive at the same Time.
An correct mount shows like /mnt/usb_storage/Drivename.

Hmmmm, I made a change here so maybe I mucked it up.

Are you willing to try a new boot.img and see if it fixes that?

I only have 1 USB drive so I cannot test 2.

As I said, I am not very good with these things, so I simply read the instructions step-by step.
Once I got stuck - I was too dumb/afraid, (insert your favorite 'dumbass' adjective here) to continue

In the end I want to thank you all for your replies. By 3AM I managed to flash both of the
stick (my friend;s and mine). This was a lot harder than flashing my Cube u30gt2, but in the
end it is now all done. I even managed to go outside of the default settings and changed the
app space to 2GB. For whatever stupid reason as I was installing some apps, my stick lost root,
so I had to start all over with erase, flash and redoing the setup and re-stalling all apps, but now
everything works and looks great.

Just arrived T428 and updated firmware to Finless Rom 1.4 to 4.1.1

I received my Tronsmart T428 today. I tested it as shipped with 4.2.2 It seemed ok, but as I read on here, Netflix would not work correctly. I installed Finless rom for 4.1.1 then tried it. Netfiix ran ok, but my wireless connection was horrible. It was much better with the stock rom. Also, with Finless rom, I got no sound from my tv. I also have read that this is a problem with some tv's. However, I did have sound with the stock rom. My speed did increase a little with new Finless rom. Now I am not sure what to do next. I am going to reflash my rom again with Finless rom 4.1.1 just in case it did not flash correctly the first time. From the directions, it said to watch the count and make sure it hit 2048, I could not be for certain that it reached that number. I did it several times but, it always popped up a number 6, not sure what that meant. So, my question is what do I do now...

OK here is a new boot with edited init.rc. It may fix your multiple USB drive issue.

Unzip this and flash boot.img.

You should be able to just flash only this new boot.img without erasing and flashing the entire ROM. But if it still wont work for you, try full erase and flash.

Video playback

Yesterday I installed this ROM. I was using 4.2 and I couldn't get my BT keyboard working on it but with this but with this rom the BT keyboard worked on the very first try. Thank you very much Bob on fixing that.

Here are my experiences/observations with this.

The default parameter file on the flash tool didn't work. As Bob mentioned on the readme it got stuck after formatting sdcard step (which was expected) and i unplug the stick and plugged it after 10+ sec and then it was stuck on the boot screen for about 10mins but never booted. (noticed that the boot screen shows MK 908 instead of T428). I then re-flashed with the paramater2gb file and everything worked as expected. (even the boot screen showed T428). I did a file diff between 2 param files and noticed that "parameter" file has android version as "4.0.8" and others have "4.1.1". I don't know if it matters.

I tried to install xbmc on this neither http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/an...rmeabi-v7a.apk nor http://xbmc-android.googlecode.com/f...47b0a23c60.apk worked on this. ( I had similar experiences with all the 4.1 roms i tried).

However I was able to get a working using the instructions on http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php.../#.UZKeA7Xvv0U

But the video quality is not so great when compared to the 4.2. Most of the videos are either lagging or choppy. (I watched 720p videos on xbmc- ice films on 4.2 without any significant lagging or jittering but not on this). I also having playback issues on my local network files (1080p - dlan) on this. They were playing fine on the 4.2 ROMs.

Bottom line , 4.2 = better video + no BT and 4.1 = BT + crappy video

One other question to all PPL have T428. What do you do to run antutu benchmark on this ? Out of the all the ROMs i tried (= all the ROMs published so far) there was no single ROM that I could run the full benchmark. The unit crashes in the middle of the "cpu and memory" tests. If I exclude that, other tests runs fine. Do you think that i have a faulty HW or something?

Loader has nothing to do with how the ROM runs. It's usually best to use Rockchip's latest. It usually gets updated by Rockchip for rom flashing issues and bricking.

No Audio

I have gone back and forth between Finless 4.2.2 and 4.1.1 roms, and each one of them has a major problem. I love the 4.1.1, but can't get any audio out. Tried two different tv's, same situation. I tried going through my hdmi switch, but the video was too messed up to use it using the 4.2.2 but works great with 4.1.1. Still can't get audio with 4.1.1 going directly to two tv's or going through my hdmi switch. Any ideas on how to get the audio working? I also have a MK818B that I received about 3 weeks ago, it has always worked flawlessly. It is 4.1.1. also.
