Got my T428 today and immediately flashed this ROM on it. Initial findings (others have already reported all/most of these).

• Not possible to enable an external sound card in the settings (i.e. no mic support)
• Mount point for USB storages incorrect at '/mnt/usb_storage'

Some positive things:

• My NTFS-formatted 1TB 2.5" USB HDD works perfectly through a powered D-Link DUB-H4 USB hub. With SambaDroid I'm able to use the device as a NAS.
• Logitech K400 keyboard/touchpad combo works
• Wii USB-RJ45 adapter works very well (better than the included adapter)
• The 2A power supply I bought from Amazon.de seems to be able to push enough current to keep the device stable under load.

So far I have only had time to install the bare minimum of essential apps (MX Player Pro w/ ARMv7 NEON codecs, SambaDroid, ES File Explorer). H/W+ acceleration in MX Player doesn't seem to work correctly but basic H/W accel does. I haven't tested with HD material yet.

You are right hardware encoding does not work even 720p is stutters! Interestingly this was loosely M808. The camera (Logitech C170) and the USB sound cards also do not work!

I was to make a cwm zip file to apply the fix, but there is not a cwm recovery for this devices yet.

Good news!! I was def disappointed to see I couldnt mount my nas using this rom

xbmc won't load

Flashed ok. Installeed Flash player and xbmc geekbuyer.com. xbmc starts to come up after install then shuts down. Any suestions? PS I did set Security setting to allow unknown sources.

Yes it is on topic this is the most stable xbmc for finless 1.4 4.1.1 the one for finless 1.4 4.2.2 from geekbuying do not work for that rom so this is related to that rom and the t428 only

Yes, the sd card is ok and external storage, as well as off the physical keyboard, HD video hardware decoding is still a problem. The camera is still not working.

Anyway, I will cook you up something to test if your willing. I cant test all this stuff nor have all the environments to do so! So if your willing I will cook you up a ROM and you tell me....

If so I have a cifs.ko I can give you to try. This will at least let us know if it works before I cook a ROM with it.

Yes sir - I do know how to do insmod... I have been cooking my own roms as well - they are nowhere close to quality that you get.. but they work very well

Do send me the cifs ko file, can try it out...

Here is cifs, tun, and md4 KO modules compiled for 3.0.36+ kernel.

Special thanks to Leolas who compiled them.

He tested that they insmod on a 3.0.36+ kernel on the MK808 4.2.2 kernel. They should work with our kernel too but I have not tested them myself yet.
