Hi, i cannot get recovery mode for flashing. Have you get device in recovery mode with button in AV connector? Сan you make the photo of part board, as on my photo and overall photo of board? I assume that the board is not soldered to the resistor for reset button.

I just bought one of these. I have problems playing H264 and sound drops with passtrough dolby and dts. Is there anyone experiencing the same problems as I have.
Can't find a firmware that solves these problems. Can I install OpenElec on it and does that fix my problems? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I do not own this box, but I have another S905 box, also with this issue. From my understanding, the DTS issue requires Amlogic to provide a solution(SDK). They and others are aware of this issue and a fix should be in the works.

Hi Kamik, did you find a solution? Were you able to get into recovery mode? Nothing happens when I push the reset button and power on. My last hope is to try USB burning tool but I see that you have a problem with the October img.

Hi, rocketsbay, not yet. Seller tries to get one file firmware from the manufacturer . Whether it will work, remains to be seen. Hard Reset button is not connecting, as far as I can follow the conductor track on board .

Hmmmm OK, do you think we can try to short cut the pins on the board as is mentioned with some amlogic TV boxes? Otherwise how will you try to flash the firmware?

after the flash it now just shows a black screen, the device has the blue led on, the reset button is not working.
