actually is not a problem of the box.

My tv is the issue here..i've tried another Box and the sound is the same ...

If you want the 5.1 channel for local movies try this.

I installed MX Player with AC3/DTS codec, but i have not a equipment to try the 5.1 channel.

But if you want try this tutorial and tell us if works and i have not sure but i think you should modify some issus in the Android settings

I will try it tonight.

I will give it a go but other boxes on other TV the sound is OK....i'm guessing the problem is the TV passthrough...

i installed the firm 1.2, but when i do the first boot after update , i only see the screen with "controller Activated... etc" and then black screen and sometimes freeze in a screen with "Superceleron v1.2". I need help, please

Never ear of that problem, reflash the stock rom again to see if it is a bad flash!

when i flash other roms i have the same problem, it freezes at 5 secs :s. Maybe the bootloader is broken

hmm that looks like a nand problem or a overheating problem since it also does with the stock rom!

Unable to boot/install OrangePi PC with Beelink X2 V1.1 (or V1.2)


Flashed V1.1 with two different 16 GB microSD cards. On version shows me the red rectangle on black screen and stays there. The other card boots up in Google TV Splash screen and stays there.
Flashing V1.2 gives me the red rectangle with some distortion above the rectangle.

Using Phoenixcard 3.10. Tried different micrSD usb card holders.
Tried whiping partition and format with SDCARDFormatter.
Power supply is rock solid 5,1 volt
CPU has Cooling fan.

This is a new Orange Pi PC.

Installed the OPi Plus 2 with the Beelink X2 version the same way and that worked fine. (although I had to try multiple times.) Formatting with phoenixcard is not very consistent.
Even when it completes the burn.


Please help!
