you should use the pre-installed vidon xbmc, it don't have such problem.

Oic no wonder anyway i already resolve it by turn off the amcodec..it play any movies playback in fullscreen....i have tronsmart S89 no issue with amcodec ON.

Yes the current FW works on this PCB.. It flashed fine I used the SD Card way

The first two photo's are of mine







Some info I managed to get of the differences between them both

1. Update and change color of PCBA:




The black color is more stable to print the electronic circle and so Tronsmart team decide to change color of PCBA. And update the PCBA.

2. Change the heat dissipation.




Tronsmart change ceramic Heat sink to aluminum heat dissipation, it more lighter and better for heat dissipation.
3. Some tweaks for firmware.
a.Add sleep/reboot for software control.
b.Fixed downloading issues on Google Store.
c.Fixed some bugs on vidon XBMC.

Some of the quirks as follows
Some movies tested Digital Dolby 5.1 can have Clipping or clicks every 10 ~ 20 seconds.
Used HDMI pass through Kodi, to Sony amp to Sony 40in 1080 TV. more testing to confirm.

Testing further with Audio and Movies, by using SPIDF/Optical cable to Sound Bar, clipping has gone, Audio is very Clean with no clicks
Selecting SPDiF in Lollipop settings, deselecting HDMI pass through in Kodi

Note the Alloy heat sink is attached to the cover with a bit of double side Sponge/Tap.
Arctic glue will be used if heat becomes a problem so far so good.

In My Apps run UPDATE&BACKUP
Local update Click on Select, Scanning will locate and click on ezroot.zip.
Sit back relax
Unit will Reboot.

Now... If Geekbuying would like me to be involved with this product I would be glad too!!!...

But I have not heard from Eric for over a year after the failed AW80 and not making that a box better and "could have" ruled the market at the time...

FYI, tried to flash the S95 ROMs to my Minix and no go.. I know why (system is HUGE and bloated to hell along with DTB differences with chips that are cheaper) but trust I have taken the ROMs apart now and can already see improvements that could be done.

Maybe even without having a S95, I can do something but it will be low on the priority list as I support manufacturers that help Dev's support custom ROMs.

No offense to Eric and Tronsmart but.... the the Minix box is probably the best of the bunch right now. The Tronsmart is 2nd followed by the cheap beelink which does in fact make the S95 for them.
