    Howdy All,

Update "6.0.3c" - This build provides the "Reboot From Nand" option, & uses a near identical kernel to my latest test build.

Toothpick/boot is required to enable the extra uenv variables required for this to work correctly (unless you have already done so with the latest test_build) - No prior releases to this & my latest test_builds have the necessary drivers to allow reboot from nand functionality!

Thanks to kszaq for providing this functionality - I have merely modified it slightly to suit the MX3G

    Cheer!

if you have been dual booting, then its nothing new, just do toothpick/install ...well if you have not, then its a little more involved.

burn the img on a sd card first, then tookpick install.
    for windows:
    http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php/HO...ge#tab=Windows

    today I started from sctract..
Flashed Android 5.1 stock...then flashed dual boot zip...
then on one SD have Stable 6.03b
on another SD chard have OE7 test build.

so far, working like a champ
    thanks Wilro...

This build brings "boot from Nand" option when you have booted into this build from sdcard (thanks kszaq ), so that you can boot off nand without removing your sdcard - You need to toothpick/install to update the uenv on the device in order for this to work.

There have been a few tweaks for kodi + I've changed the default scheduler back to "interactive"

I will release a new OE 6 "stable" build once I'm sure I haven't broken anything else

I have installed Android 5.1 stock and dual boot
And also I have install 6.03b in my SD card
I'm dual booting by removing my SD card and when I rebooting my tv box get into android

I still not understand how to update the uevn to dual booting without removing my SD card
    What is the uevn?

I have 2 question are you able to install other apps, for example if I want to run an emulator program to run iptv is it possible, and my other question is there an openlec tom for the MXV

Yes - I run OE 6.03b from a micro SD card - and the android box itself is untouched. All data is stored on the micro SD.

Before I do this. I want to make sure I understand this correctly but using an sd card and the latest oe 6 build I can run the whole thing from the sd card right? So that everything is stored on the sd card and not the internal memory correct?

The hardware is not even close as you can see in the photos. I played with them for two nights straight and gave up. I'm steamed because I'm certain the seller is trying to pull a fast one on the public and just wondering how many people have these clone boxes that have experienced problems with your ROM.

    Frank
I sympathise with the frustration - It's always bugged me that as soon as we get a good understanding of one of these boxes, they change just enough of it with a new "revision/version" that introduces just enough incompatibility with the previous one, that we have to almost go back to the start to get them fully functional (It doesn't help that they maintain the same labelling/model no - I'm kind of kicking myself now that I didn't buy more of the original MX3G's, because I know if my current one dies, I'll end up with something that is the same in name only, with a whole slew of new/different problems to my current one...

Edit I was wrong, its on the OE 7.0 as well... I'm stepping back to 6.0.3b (Its working fine)
My next build will default with the "interactive" scheduler (It's easy enough to change this with the current build in autostart.sh) - I found the hotplug scheduler works well here (it also keeps the temp. much lower), although kszaq has patched a minor quirk that stopped the 4th core from powering up (It is normal for this scheduler to only be using 1-2 cores, for the most part

Yes, I noticed this - It's produced from a few of the core OE developers - It's currently pretty much identical to OE, but I'll be keeping an eye on it to see if it brings anything useful for our build

The CPU governor isn't working correctly I noticed it was slow as well and two of the cores were frozen. Went back to 6.0.3b

With the exception of one of my older no-name TV's here (which refuses to boot when cec signals are sent to it), cec mostly works - Have you gone into your addon's (wetek hdmi cec) & enabled & turned it on? The addon defaults to being disabled on new installs to ensure maximum compatibility, & is one of the 1st things I disable when I experience TV/remote problems
It works!!! Thx a lot Wilro... i had to enabled wetek hdmi cec
Now i use your beta OE... nice so far.
