Is there a reason why the 1080P output option has been removed from the settings. I realize the kernel was 720P anyway. Was it scaling to 1080P in the stock ?

Question On app size choice
Bob, If your around. I need to ask you something. When trying to flash the rom. I chose the 4gb partition. But I noticed the color of that box changed from green to dark blue if I remember correctly. Anyway I was having a hard time trying to reboot windows and the stick per the instructions after getting driver installed. I had reached that point once. Doing it all the way it said to. When I clicked flash. I got an error. Cant remember what it said. So next time. I did not reboot and just went with the 2gb. Evrything was green and flash went fine. But now Im stuck with 2gb for apps. So question is: was blue color ok.? Im going to have to reflash. 2gb stinks. Just worried il get that error again. Thanks, P :::ANYONE can answer this question?-----Hellooooo...Even a guess....lolLast edited by peety; 22 June 2013, 00:42.

I'll try to flash this ROM tonight to my this weeks received CX919. With the stock ROM (4.1) I hadn't any luck with XBMC running 720p. It was out of sync and realy choppy. Would this be fixed with this firmware?
My question if you use XBMC and got it running without choppy video: which ROM (and version) are you on and what exact XBMC-version have you installed?

May sound silly. But a notice about not having to keep holding fn button. down would help. Everyone starts somewhere. I actually found some help at the place I purchased it. It was not GB. Il share it there zince there are others that want and need help. So far this is a great rom though. Appreciate the work done. Good Gi is the key...

Weird
Thanks for all the work first - now my problem:- (read ending I solved this myself, but you may want to keep this post here in case anyone else makes this noob mistake)
Ok I flashed this ROM on to my CX919 everything works as far as I can tell, I went straight from the stock rom to a 2gb partition version of this rom, this works with no issues. Then I thought ok let's try it with a 4gb partition - tried this several times - erased - flashed etc, and it all it does is show the boot logo screen - no animation - then it just sits there with the static logo screen. Tried unplugging and doing all the things the read me tells me to do - still no go.
So I then tried the rom again but with the 2gb partition - it came back to life - so then I tried it with the 1gb partition - erased / flashed etc = static logo screen again / so tried the 4gb again = static logo boot screen - so I went back to the 2gb again = working and booting fine again????????
I was also wondering if this ROM had libstagefright added and if not then does anyone have a link to a working xbmc build for this ROM?
A big thanks to anyone who can help.
SOLVED - I skipped the install new drivers bit on the read me - this solved the problemstill had the original drivers I had installed from my mk802iiis.
and yes it does have libstagefright added - but if anyone does have an XBMC build that works without having to use libstagefright then please post a D/L link. Also does anyone know if there is a CWM for this device yet?

Finless 1.4 feedback
Oki..finally to put thread back to topic.. My short experience with cx919 and Finless 1.4
I used it a bit with stock rom, now I am on Finless 1.4 (4.2.2) ..
- On stock my favorite Dice player didn't work (was showing "can't start video", even when u try to open it), some old Logitec USB camera was not detected by stick/skype, videos from external hdd plugged were playing ok.. Interesting that Antutu crashed during testing...
- Finless brought me really ugly splash screen, as well as old usb camera support in skype, which I tested and it worked pretty good during 45min conversation.. Dice player now works but in a funny way.. a bit slow.. (I saw decoding is done using software and didn't have time now to find option for hw decoding.. should be better).. It is nice that some crappy useless apps are gone, but on the other side developer added some "game mapper controler" and few other apps which are at least for me and for now useless (better would be to mention them in readme so user can download them)..This is about reboot app for example, which could be super useful, except that it froze somehow my stick and I couldn't start it not even after hard reset.. Flash of Finless again boot it up again.. For SuperUser developer decided not to use the most popular and open source app (by ClockworkMod), but at least in this rom there is root (Stock was pain in the ass to get the root, if u manage to get drivers work).. The biggest problems, however was very difficult mounting of external hdd and even usb. From USB I eventually was able to play videos, while HDD was "blinking" all the time, it even showed up in a list but when I tried to access it it was impossible.. I lost patience waiting, cause I know that on stock that was way much shorter then 3+ min I was waiting on Finless.. Beside this issues I noticed that sometimes mouse/pointer doesn't move and on stock that never happened.. Is that lockout or? This was really annoying, when u know it's quad core and on stock it worked good.. It happened that
All in all good work with some annoying issues which will hopefully be fixed with 1.5 .. Thanks to BobCheers... Keep rolling...

Time to offer you a Finless 4.2.2 ROM with pretty much the same updates I did to 4.1.1.
So here you go... trying to keep up with all these ROM releases is a PAIN! But keeps me busy which I like
