    Finless, any idea of a timeline, given your past work i want to know when to start getting excited as its like waiting for xmas.

    I cannot fix the problems you are pointing out as it is not my base CODE! It's Morka's.

    However I will tell you this... I am working on my ROM 2.0 which is a GingerComb ROM which will SMOKE any of this previous work.... No offense to Morka but I have been doing this on the side for a little bit of time now. OH and NONE of this work has anything to do with Morka's work... It's all my own.

    BUT... I will not release a ROM until it is ready! Thats my style. Even for a BETA TEST... For me it has to be pretty much ready for prime time.

    So stay tuned... I think you will like my GingerComb ROM. It will be better than anything I have produced yet! Well that's my desire anyway.... Let's see if I make it

      I have one more bug to solve. The camera works but when you snap a picture it wont save it. It will save video though. I am having a hell of a time getting that to work.

      Yes it has a full lock screen!

      So it maybe real soon.

          It's looking VERY GOOD my friends!

          I am having Petrus test it right now to make sure I have not missed any bugs.

          I am still working on the camera bug though.

          Oh and did I say this sucker WAS FAST! Freaking nice setup I tell you... I think you all will like it very much.

                One of the main reasons I went to your stock based 1.5 release was that G-sensor didn't work as it should. When you hold the tab steady at some points, it gives you shaking effects on the screen. It was pretty much impossible to play an G-sensor based games e.g. Labyrinth on this rom. Hope your new state of art does not have this problem.

                    Petrus played with it yesterday but I have not heard any news from him yet.

                    Still working on the camera bug. It's wierd. The camera works but when you snap a picture it does not save it. The camera APP does not lock up or force close but it just will not save the picture. However it will record video and save it. So it's one little annoying bug I cant seem to locate.

                    It is very hard to find what LIB files are used throught the entire camera system

                      does it act as if its taken then as in shutter sound and animation (if included) but no save or does it do nothing it uses a very complex way of taking pics would of thought it would hang or fc if but hope you have some luck finding the prob

                        The shutter sound clicks, the screen blinks as if it took the picture, but then the video output stops. It doesnt save the picture. If you wait the camera video will start updating again so the APP is not hung. It very strange.

                          well i hope you fix this soon as the rom sounds amazing would love to help but afrade its well above my me lol can see how it works on a hardware level and it makes sence from the link you sent how the software level works but i am not too good with linux still learning (i traned windows and networking) so would have no idea how the programming would fit lol

                            Guess what! I just fixed it baby!

                            Logcat is your friend but the error I was getting was not very descriptive. Looking close I found it was the JPEG ENcoder and its' failure there caused a huge amount of errors all the way back to the HAL layer. It was just a matter of trace back

                            Quick swap of a lib file solved it.


                            So this ROM is almost ready. I just need to do a little more testing.
