NEXTBOOK PREMIUM 7se ROOT?? (FOR 2013 MODELS??)

I recently purchased a Nextbook Premium 7se, and the serial number is YFG0313---ETC

I noticed that there are only rooting tutorials for older models. I haven't seen a new post about the subject since late 2012.

Is anyone working on a root method for the newer models? (Mine was manufactured in MARCH 2013)
If so, I would like to help because I really want to get this tablet rooted.

Cydia Impactor works on the 2013 models manufactured before Black hat 2013(July, so serials before YFG0713) but not sure if anything after that will work, since google has patched the "Master Key bug #8219321"

i followed your instructions very much carefully but it still says signature verification failed, while installing the package. And the installation gets aborted.
Can anyone shed some light on it plz.......

You need a modified recovery to flash anything on the current Amlogic based Nextbook models.

Check your model and see if one is available for your model here in the forums.

hi, thanx for reply.
Here are some things i have tried out and some specs of the tab.
Specs:
nextbook 7p12
s/n: YF 0513...
PHM727MC (i dunno what that means )
4.0.4
kernel 2.6.34* rooted with impetor.
*tried terminal emulator to bypass stock 3e recovery with some recovery found on xda.
*tried odin too.nothing seems to work
* and yes!!!!!! i have tried surely everyhthing found in this site and xda.things doesnt even goes with the tab.

plz help me out guys

sorry for bothering..as i just got it to find out its useless and hopelessly slow on ics and i have no chance to get hands upon another tab for at least a year.
So you guys are kinda last resort for me.

Hello i dont know if anyone has found the easiest way i just got mine in the mail 10 mins ago rooted it by the time i turned it on. works perfect with supersu I used kingo root to do it with google nexus s adb driver installed i ran the kingo root and rebooted had everything working properly thought i would share this as a STABLE way to root the tablet

You can always use kingo root to if you like i could. Send you A link to the download thats what i've used and works fast and easy. He is right as well cydia impactor uses a master key exploit which is in a lot of devices still. They are both one click root methods I say kingo root because after done installing kingo root verifys root access which is nice. Knowing if your root installed properly.

I'm currenlty downloading Cydia Impactor from their site but there arent instructions. I'm using windows xp on my pc. Do i just unzip the file and execute any exe files in it?

I've never used it myself. The instructions are there on the Cydia Impactor website somewhere.
