its a file viewer can have split screan drag drop rename delete copy and move and change file permisions and much more try it make sure u have a rom nan back up before u try to do any thing serioes ok i have been using for oner a yeay on my phone and this tab next 8 every thing i done on this tab was done using this app can even edit the built prop

Right,same here I found the fluke why some apps don't detect root and some don't my device came preinstalled with /tiny box which runs java not Linux still tinkering when I update su uid says legacy in red and where it would say root doesn't say fail but it leaves it blank,weird,huh

Have you considered doing a full busy box install?

What is the build date in your build.prop file? You might have better luck with the stock rom available here in the forums. It's from a July date if I recall correctly and root works fine on it in my experience.

Why do they keep switch in that busy boxes? That's what makes em diff.its called,tiny busy box and its 624kbs,just try flashing your ROM its a 3 month diff.between them ,I was think in the same thing,hard to do a backup 10 checkers say root,so I have to be root,I'm still happy cause most root apps work,and you still have fact. Reset,,,,:-) best of both worlds,:-) lol,still awsome

I have no idea why they do alot of things... they also switched from alsa to tinyalsa for audio awhile back...

There was a bug with one of the busybox versions... that may be why they switched... caused the mouse cursor to turn into the boot splash screen...

I would download a busybox installer from the play store and make sure you get a full busybox install.

That failed,I tried uninstalling busy, won't let me and your right my mouse on my old 1 worked but the mouse or keyboard didn't work from the beggining right out the box,but charges wit USB.also antutu said no 3d traffic support,but GTA 3 ,asphalt,and NFS,work great,?.crazy should I flash
That ROM dump or 4 get it?even wit root no kernel support 4clocking ,,SD force is nice and bloat uninstalls nice too,99.9 good could be my unit or I did it wrong,I frozed all apps in the beginning before they started updating, this had net nanny,help wiz,and,start wiz,that might be y it got screwy,

I don't think I've tested mouse and keyboard on my 7 inch... use a keyboard on my 8 inch all the time...

As I recall, the Next7HD8G ROM I have posted here, is the same one I run on mine, although I may have a slightly newer one. Works fine for me, although I must confess that I don't run alot of apps. I rarely play games on it and I don't bother with any backup apps. I either do a nandroid (CWM over here... ) or I just reinstall apps after a flash. I usually keep copies of my must have apps on external SD so I can reinstall them without downloading. Reinstalling apps is the best way to go... restoring backed up apps with app data is not much better than doing a dirty flash without wiping... sometimes the backed up data causes compatibility problems when restored.

Absolutely your right that's way better and u don't need network to get or. Apps back ,,there's always so much space on the card the band fills quick,so u wouldn't try the ROM on the thread just change the uid,group, ownership is the beef,such,,good,,busy box,,,good,,uid no good,I'm thinkin its rooted runs most apps,still great work on halls part,and should be compensated for the work:-) :-) much thanks,I'm sure its a safe flash it won't brick or I would have done it already,the threads safe,,,,,def.

One thing that's all should I clean cache,media part. And factory reset before installing any of those threads?or just get to recov. And flash without a wipe?

It won't really matter, because the installer wipes everything before it installs the ROM anyway... prevents me from troubleshooting problems caused by people who flash without wiping...
