There is no such thing as an m3 rockwell chipset...

Yifang / eFun /Nextbook stopped using rockwell rockchips... the m3 (meson3) is an Amlogic chipset. The first 4 digits of your serial indicate is was manufactured in september of 2013, which would definitely make it one of the newer Amlogic based tablets.

You need to look in the Amlogic subforum of the Nextbook forum...

Anybody know how to either get out of boot mode or into recovery mode?

i downloaded an app thru the play store that allows me to customize and overclock my tablet, I selected
download boot mode now my screen says in huge wording unfortunately launcher has stopped and allows to hit ok, but keeps coming up and cant access anything else, how do I get my nextbook 7p12 into recovery mode, as I have the tablet rooted but havent found out how to put it into recovery mode correctly or I should say ive forgotten how to.

got tablet into recovery still when i try and run the files SMT_Next7P12-8G_Mod_Recovery or SMT_Next7P12-8G_Stock_Rom-signed only comes up under recovery as zip files and when i try and run them i get installation aborted after half way thru the process of doing the update, cannot access anything on my screen as the screen has gotten two times to big, anybody know what i can do ill try anything, idc if i have to do factory reset, i know how to reroot it

In order to flash the file SMT_Next7P12-8G_Stock_Rom-signed.zip you need to extract the file uImage_recovery from the file SMT_Next7P12-8G_Mod_Recovery.zip onto the root of the sd card.

You don't flash install the modified recovery... as long as the uImage_recovery file is on the external SD card, the tablet will automatically use it instead of the internal stock recovery when you hold the volume- key while turning the tablet on.

The modified recovery will allow you to install the kyser_root.zip and / or the ROM without getting the signature verification failure...

Don't flash the ROM unless there is something wrong with your current ROM...

i have put the uimage_recovery on my sd card but the recovery never reads it and always get error if i try and run the kyser_root and above msg is what i get when trying to install file, have downloaded the same file from multiple locations online and always deleted the old one prior to make sure they were being added correctly, and all have had same error

my current rom only thing wrong is the screen is to big to access anything, i downloaded a app prior thru the play store and it required me to reboot after i selected the feat by mistake, was trying to click on feat above it, when it rebooted it made my screen where i cannot access any of my buttons, the screen comes up so big it wont even show the time and only half the screen shows up, cannot use but half the screen

I'm not sure what... but you're doing something wrong...

idk if this matters but since i cannot access any of the settings but the recovery on my nextbook i put the uimage and kyser on the root of my sd card, idk if there is away thru the recovery to add the programs to the internal storage of the tablet?
