But not a problem as I'll pull the firmware apart and see if I can inject root from there and build something.

I got a second time, enable debugging on usb and connects to the pc. I use windows 7, run the program and then connect the cable usb.

Yes it goes through the process correctly but fails every time but I'm not too concerned at this point.

It will run on the D32 as it is but there will be no WiFi.

I've been running it for a few hours now and after resource management it works very well.

I've also pulled it apart and have started to see if I can rebuild it with everything working as we would like it.

I don't use the supplied remote, although dkuoa did say earlier that the stock remote does not work.

I'm not sure how much that I will be able to do yet but WiFi is top of the list.

Auto adjust frame rate is already present.

There is no HDMI passthrough with this one though, so it' will be PCM audio only right now.

The bundled RKMC does work very well but the RK version of FTMC 22 is even better.

I'm glad that it works as well as it can.

Don't get too hopeful lol as I might not be able to get it just right but hopefully the knowledge that there is a real possibility of marshmallow on the RK3229 might inspire a real dev or two to come up with the goods.

Yes very intrigued. I normally use WiFi but I have been wanting to wire the entertainment center up anyway, this might be a good reason to get started.

I have just seen that there will be an official MM firmware for the D5 in a couple of weeks, so that is good news.

So I don't need to do any more right now and will wait and see what they come up with but can say that FTMC, Youtube and other things that I have tested all work very well.

MM is a little more resource hungry than Loppipop, so is a little sluggish at the start, so optimisation is even more key to smooth video playback.
