I think that on the basis that Ugoos have created one, I think that there is a likelihood that it will happen and the fact that they have given a small timescale probably indicates that they have already jumped on it.

I have just seen that there will be an official MM firmware for the D5 in a couple of weeks, so that is good news.

So I don't need to do any more right now and will wait and see what they come up with but can say that FTMC, Youtube and other things that I have tested all work very well.

MM is a little more resource hungry than Loppipop, so is a little sluggish at the start, so optimisation is even more key to smooth video playback.

This is awesome! cant wait!! I cant wait to see if Netflix works aswell...

Where was this claim for the MM update found?

Did that a few months ago, so that avenue is sadly not open to me.

Agree patience is the key to life. I'm sure the stable release for the dolamee is coming as quickly as they can.

Plus I don't have the proper spdif cable to hook up to test the audio sync issue with Netflix on the ugoos firmware. So my only hope is the update comes before the cut off return date for Amazon.

If it doesn't I'll have to return this box and either wait or try to find another similarly price box out there!

I have been digging around for the Netflix issue resolution and found the following.

I have the audio sync solution for the Dolamee D5 here, posting seeing as this was an issue for me and it seems as a true solution was never posted in this thread.

On the Dolamee D5 access Settings > Prefrences > More setting > Device > Display > HDMI Mode > 1920x1080p-24

The above option will sync the netflix audio properly. Let me know if this solves the problem for you, it did for me!
