How's the battery consumption of your m8pro after flashing this ROM?

I'm sure someone else can give you a more precise technical answer...but I think the battery consumption is OK.Randy

I'm not sure about your external SD. You might run check disk from windows and see if there are errors.

Pipo M8 Pro 4.2.2 RileyROM 1.7 SDK 2.0
I'm working on v1.8 with multi-window support. I still have to test some more, but I'm almost done. I found the Pipo version of the firmware, so I'm making my own ROM
Stay tuned!!!!

I'm finished with this new ROM and it boots and runs well. I haven't had time to learn all of the in's and outs of the new multi-window stuff. More on that later.
To activate it, there is a new button in settings.
I'm uploading the new ROM now, so be watching for a new thread!!!!!!!!!!Randy

Re: Pipo M8 Pro 4.2.2 RileyROM 1.7 SDK 2.0
Which one are you on? 1.7 or 1.8?
I have not experienced either problem...with either ROM. I'm using 1.8 right now.

Cifs Manager not working
Thanks for this ROM, I know there's already a newer version (1.9 I think) available but I didn't want to venture myself in this multi-window (at least for now) so I decided to stick to 1.7.
I'm new to this but I flashed it without any issues. Just want to point out to people to be patient when rebooting after flashing. It takes time, no animation so I thought I was stuck, but everything is up and running.
Me too, I only have 10.6 GB of Nand with the default parameter. My stock ROM reported 12 GB. Any reason for that?
Now I have this problem. I want to use MXPlayerPro with my network drive. (this works perfectly with my Uhost, an Android mini pc)
Therefore I need to use CIFS Manager to mount the network drive. Unfortunately I get an error and after some research it seems to be that cifs.ko is missing in the kernel.
Would anyone have this module for this kernel and knows how I can install this on my tablet?
Many thank for the great work!!
Cheers
