Are you sure you have an Xtron+...not just the plain Xtron. I also have a ROM for the Xtron...the difference is that the Xtron+ has an HDMI jack on it, the Xtron doesn't. Just make sure you have the correct ROM flashed to your device.

Do you have an SD card inserted in your tablet?

Remove the SD card and see if you have the same error.

If not, the format on the SD card might be corrupted. Have you inserted it into your pc and run a chkdsk on it to check for errors?

You might try formatting the SD card to NTFS instead of Fat32...that might solve the problem. Rockchip processors tend to corrupt the external SD card sometimes.

If that isn't the problem, I'm not sure what else to try.

It won't be until Saturday, but I can go over my ROM (and redo it) to see if I can find something I missed. There may be an app that I removed that is required for things to run properly...I can't remember if I debloated much from that ROM. It has been a while since I made it.

Yes I've Xtron+ WITH HDMI and Dual (front and back camera). I've haven't tried chkdsk but i formated the Internal SD card with NTFS, but yes the external SD card is FAT32.

I think developers just throw these things together without changing everything. Bottom line...it just works. I didn't change it, because that's what the original firmware had in it.

Just installed it and it's working great..... was unable to root hence flashed this rom.... it's overall good rom.... only thing I am unable to do is watchvvideos on YouTube app.... any solution as of now?????

Also I want to have tablet ui in settings app.... any help will be appreciated..... thanks in advance.....

Some ROMs are a little different in handling those to items. I will look into some possible changes. However, since I don't have one of these tablets to test on, this might be difficult to fix.

I have installed another custom ROM which was meant for another RK30xx tablet and its working fine with some bugs....
The rotation is 90 degree ahead of the orientation in which I hold it....

Can you help me how to unpack the img files so that I can myself do some RnD and check with the sensor modules....

If you found a ROM that everything works, but that...you are lucky. Usually you have touch screen problems, and wifi won't work.

You need Linux to mount the system.img. I use a Virtualbox with Ubuntu Studio.

PM me if you can set that up, and I can give you the commands to mount and unmount.

Otherwise, you can send me a link to the ROM you are using, and I can take a look. Which tablet is it for? Where did you get it.

replace the kernel file in the ROM with the kernel for Xtron+ and then flash....

U8 with xtron+ kernel got Wifi working......

else these things still there......

1. front camera and rear camera also not working as desired they are roatated and inverted in some way....
2. auto rotation when on rotates the screen in the next order in which it is held....
3. also the touch buttons at the bottom is not fully shown.... the recent apps button is going out of screen.....

These are the issues I am getting....

Have you tried my U8 ROM?

You can try flashing it with your kernel and see if it works.

It would be a whole lot easier modifying my ROM vs Oma's...he puts in a BUNCH of roadblocks.

I would do that to make sure...no since in wasting your time.
