Was that for the KB2_Pro if so, it was an excellent buy. I paid $73 in total for my BB2-Pro and as you Know it has only half the storage!

Is that the current price at GearBest, if not where did you purchase?

ok I'm Stupid!.. I Did not make a backup before installing this ROM. and Wow I hate it so much..lol nothing works the way I like and it's so hard if not impossible to get things setup the way i want them.. like what's with the store? can't search or get most of anything i use. and what about a Browser? whatever, it is what he likes and so be it. no dis·re·spect to Superceleron.

Purchased from GearBest December 22 on Flash Sale. I have not disassembled my BB2-Pro but I have no reason to believe that my PCB should be any newer than any one else's here.

After reading @superceleron's Post #113, and then seeing that others had success, I decided to look into my own.


VP9 Playback Testing

Test Material was found at the Official Kodi Wiki Sample Page

Specifically tested

1.)
The World in HDR HERE

2.)
The Redwoods HERE

3.)
VP9 (open-source alternative to HEVC) (YouTube)

To play the above #3.) as well as other VP9 videos directly from the YouTube.apk included with your box

Type the following into the search box in your YouTube App

Results

Suffice it to say the playback was flawless with all files even when being streamed from my Google Drive Cloud and played through the YouTube.apk


I will perform further testing as warranted, requested, etc.

Hello, I have the same mecool bb2 pro purchased on gearbest in dicember 17. The firmware is the last official from videostrong that I have shared here. I can see all VP9 videos with no problems but I have uninstalled stock youtube and installed last (the update is not possible).
