Also I do not have a '/storage/.config/emulationstation' folder, so something isn't right.

Did you replace the emulationstation bin or something?

Anyway to fix permission issues try running this:
    Code:
    chmod -R a+rw /storage/.kodi/addons/emulator.tools.32bitlibs
    chmod -R a+rw /storage/.emulationstation
Ok great - Is this tested on S805 LibreELEC build

As the title of this thread says 'S905/S905X' that would be a no.

Thanks but still nothing, I'm wondering if it's to do with JoKeRz 32 bit libs addon, kszaq said it possible needs recompiled with the updated libs from the s805 builds

AlexELEC has separate builds for S905/S805/S812.

It may be worth trying to grab the emulationstation & retroarch bin from the AlexELEC-S805 /usr/bin folder to see if they will work.

Was that all what was needed? To replace the emulationstation & retroarch bin with the ones from the S805 build?

No, they wouldn't work at all, but I managed to recompile a version of libreELEC with the correct lib files needed, then I just copied them over to my original build and everythings working and up to date.

It's bizarre as I've copied over lib files etc previously but never worked.

I do not have audio in retroarch and emulastation on mini mx witch libreelec 8.0.2a
Edit: Solved, but I do not manage to save the configuration
Edit: Already I managed it to solve, it was for a bad configuration in retroarch.

Updated the EmulationStation + RetroArch package. Edited the RetroArch settings so it uses "hw:0,0" for the audio (needed for LibreELEC 8. For 7 revert back to "hw:0,1").
                      Use same link to update.

Also added Atari ST/hatari core (untested)

Update. Added a huge amount of new cores. Not all of them tested but the few I tried worked fine (see first post for all cores).
Updated and removed any libs that are not in use (if you are going to install this update over an already installed version, remove the lib folder from emulator.tools.32bitlibs first).

                        Same instructions to install.

PS. a Nintendo DS core has been added. Its a bit laggy but I think with some setting up it could run OK (also the default theme for it has no logos. The other themes are fine)

First of all thank you very much for your work.
Second, I wanted to understand if there were 2 different updates on dates:
                          11/6/17, 13/6/17
Or is it the same update ...

                          Thanks in advance.

Yeah. I have been updating it over the last few days. I am finished now. So any time past after *this* post has been posted will be the latest (I only finished uploading it about 30mins ago)

With the latest update you will need to delete the emulator.tools.32bitlibs add-on before installing/extracting the NEW package.

Hi, I noticed too that reicast is available on our platform.

Pinguy, do you think it's possible to add it please?

                                Thanks
