    Good evening everyone!
I would like to make a small contribution (sorry if it was already done before):
By doing some tests, I can emulate:
    • Neo Geo Pocket (mednafen_ngp_libretro)
    • Nitendo Virtual Boy (mednafen_vb_libretro)
    • Vecxtrex (vecx_libretro)
    • WonderSwan/Color (mednafen_wswan_libretro)
    Now a request:
How to add these above and other systems to the Emulation Station start menu?

pinguy, i kindly ask that you, if possible, natively include these cores I mentioned above, and also include them in the Emulation Station.
        • Neo Geo Pocket (mednafen_ngp_libretro)
        • Nitendo Virtual Boy (mednafen_vb_libretro)
        • Vecxtrex (vecx_libretro)
        • WonderSwan/Color (mednafen_wswan_libretro)
        • Game & Watch (gme_libretro)

Hi I managed to get Hatari core working if you want to add.

LibreElec 8.0.1f I cannot get HDMI audio to work. I have used Retroarch from Jokerzbox as a standalone. Audio works fine in that one. I compared the configuration page between the 2 versions. They are the same. I removed the RA that installs with ES and installed RA from Jokerzbox. That audio doesn't work after that. I tried changing the retroarch.cfg. It just seems to ignore it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello guys, my first post here, I have 2 things to say,

              1. A tip, for people using windows for creating the usb or sdcard that will contain the roms you should format with exfat, fat or fat32 won't allow you to name the device in lower case, and since linux (libreelec) is case sensitive you could spend a whole afternoon trying to realize why EmulationStation says you don't have any systems.

              2. I have the same problem pauly01 have, I have a t95x sunvell clone (u2c is the brand) and I'm using libreelec 8.0,1f, I tried to edit a file in this location: "~/ .kodi/addons/emulator.tools.retroarch/config retroarch.cfg" with nano, I changed the audio from 48000 hz to 44100 hz and in the cfg file it looks fine but when I run retroarch in gui in the options it still said its 48000 hz, so I think maybe there's something wrong with the cfg file itself or something like that, but tbh I'm just not that good at this to fix it. I hope some one can help us.

Besides that I just want to thank you guys, because you turned a bricked useless android box into an amazing kick ass kodi+emulator box.

I fixed the problem with no audio in RetroArch. I connected via ssh to the box. After I logged in, I typed "aplay -l" (no quotes). I looked to see which device was my HDMI audio. It was hw:0,0. I opened RetroArch Configuration by going to System>Addons>My Addons>Program Addons>Retroarch. Click on it and click on Configure. The 2nd tab at the top, go to the bottom of that page and change your audio device. I left the audio at 48000. Click OK to save it and try again.

                im using an X96 S905X

Thank you very much, I tried to use that same logic but with EmulationStation and since it doesn't have the option to configure it I gave up, it never occurred to me to tried with the retroarch addon. Thanks a lot.

I have not fixed the audio in ES yet. If anyone know how to resolve it, please let us know. Otherwise, I will post my results when I figure it out.

Do you mean that you can hear sound if you open a game in Retroarch, but you can't if you open it in EmulationStation?

I'm using ES to play the games, this is something I did, in Kodi I went to, "Settings (cog icon)>System settings>Audio>Audio output device" and there I switch from alsa: default (aml8audio analog) pcm to alsa aml8audio, HDMI and have sound in everything including EmulationStation. I hope this helps.

I have audio when playing games through ES. It's just the menu and games list don't make any sound (click sound when navigating). In game audio is fine.

My Kodi default audio is set to HDMI.

Ah ok, got it, neither do I have navigation sounds on ES menu, I didn't even knew it's supposed to make any sounds. He he...

Again thanks for the help, I'm glad my games have audio now.

ES does not have audio enabled for navigation, since this version was made for the Raspberry pi, Its only enabled for videos, so don't bother wasting your time

Thanks for the heads up. I used LibreElec for pc which did have the GUI sounds enabled. I thought something was wrong when I tried this one. In that case, I guess I'm done configuring.

Its been ages since I have used Windows. Didn't know you couldn't label storage devices in lowercase. When I next do an update I will fix this. Thanks for the heads up.

On a side note who ever has the Hatari core can you upload it. I do not have it anymore and can't seem to be able to find it again.
