The ones that use HW will not work (mednafen_psx_hw_libretro.so as an example). I tested out mednafen_psx. It worked but was unusable.

If people could test out a few cores and report back what ones work well. I will added they to the package.

    Just remember to run:

    Code:
    chmod -R a+rw /storage/.kodi/addons/emulator.tools.retroarch
    After adding the new cores.
I have tested Mame 2014 and Mess 2014 and they will not work

Mame is a nightmare. You need to get the bios and ROM sets (can't use 2003 rom sets with MAME 2014). Everything needs to match. Its why I like Final Burn Alpha. Far easier to get up and working. To be honest almost tempted to remove the mame2003 core. Final Burn Alpha is good, but doesn't work with all arcade games so unsure about removing mame2003.

Even with a Mame 2014 romset, it will not work at least on my s905 that is why I use AdvMame, it has small problems with resolution (you have to change it everytime you load a game), but so far it has worked perfect for me and it looks amazing, for everything else I use FBA. You should consider adding AdvMame to your plugin I can give you a list of the required libraries, and I already made a script to load it

F**k it, yeah give me the list. Also the list for the PSP. If I am going to include AdvMame might as well add the PSP Emulator.

Also could you have a look at Dreamcast. Retropie has it included so there must be a standalone binary for amrhf.

Same with ePSXe or FPse. There are Android versions.
PCSX-ReARMed kinda sucks. It has no upscaling or widescreen hacks.

I could get FPse to run with max setting on the Nook Simple Touch (a low speced E-Reader).

So the PSX should be able to run on the X905/X like a champ.

As far as I know ePSXe and FPse are both closed source, pcsx-rearmed standalone would be our only option. I can look into that one.

I am trying Reicast and it seems to run but I still have problems with video.

              Have you tried this? https://github.com/Holzhaus/odroid-c...1-git/PKGBUILD

              Thats for the odroid-c1.

Just found this. GameStation Turbo. Might be of some use. It seems to have a lot of game emulators. Shouldn't be to hard to port a lot of its features.

First. pinguy Thank you very very much for your hard work, and making this awesome port.
                  Question.
Is it possible to hookup some kind of wireless controller (PS3, PS4, Xbox)

Haven't be able to with the PS3 controller (works fine wired). Haven't tried the others. If you can connect the controller via bluetooth in LibreELEC settings. It should work.

I have now pre-setup the PSX, PSP & N64 emulators with the best configuration. Just re-use the same download link to get the update.

If the game has a black screen in the PSP emulator change "nonbuffered" to "buffered". You may also have to lower the screen resolution as running "buffered" uses more of the CPU. Also try setting "frameskip" to "1" (do not use the "auto frameskip") to help get smoother playback.

Also enabling hardware shared context helps: "Settings > Core > Enable hardware shared context" and disabling "Rounded mode" within the ppsspp core.

The two main options within ppsspp you should never enable because it will cause issues is "IO Threading" & " Auto frameskip".

With the new PSP defaults Ridge Racer 2 & Soul Calibur - Broken Destiny run at 60FPS @ 544p

Really liking PPSSPP core for Libretro. It may not be able to emulate all the games but the games that it can run well.

Will probably get a list going of fully working ROMs for the PSP.

544p looks fine on my 1080p TV.

Some games like Ridge Racer 2 set to a higher resolution run fine at a lower FPS (30 FPS), but I haven't noticed any improvements with the graphics. Seems 544p is the best option. This gives a noticeable improvement in the graphics and still lets the games run at 60FPS.

                          PPSSPP: PSP Compatibility list:
                          • Armored Core - Formula Front - Extreme Battle: Playable if you set "frameskip" to "1". Runs at 544p@30FPS
                          • Call of Duty - Roads to Victory: Unplayable. Doesn't fully boot
                          • Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII: Runs at 544p@30FPS
                          • God of War - Chains of Olympus: Unplayable. Very low FPS.
                          • Grand Theft Auto - Vice City Storie: Extreamly buggy. Sound cuts out all the time. Need to chage settings to "Buffered"
                          • Gran Turismo (PSP): Unplayable. Doesn't fully boot
                          • Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep: Runs at 544p@30FPS
                          • Metal Gear Solid - Peace Walker: Unplayable. Text doesn't show and it stutters
                          • Need for Speed - Most Wanted: Runs at 544p@60FPS
                          • OutRun 2006 - Coast 2 Coast: Has graphic issues. Unplayable
                          • Race Driver 2006: Unplayable. Graphic issues and low FPS
                          • Ridge Racer 2: Runs at 544p@60FPS
                          • Soul Calibur - Broken Destiny: Runs at 544p@60FPS
                          • Tekken 6: Slightly playable. Sound broken
                          • Test Drive Unlimited: Unplayable. Doesn't fully load
                          • Wipeout Pulse: Some graphic issues and sound problems. Semi playable

                          GLupeN64: N64 Compatibility list:
                          • Mario Kart 64: Fully works
                          • Super Mario 64: Fully works
                          • Conker's Bad Fur Day: Unplayable
                          • GoldenEye 007: Very low FPS. Unplayable
                          • Perfect Dark: Very low FPS. Unplayable

Will update list as more people test ROMs and report back.

For the other systems, all the games seem to be 100% compatible and run at full speed. It is only N64 & PSP that don't. You may also come across some issues with Final Burn Alpha and MAME arcade ROMs, but for the most part they work without any issue.

Majority of my my MAME roms that I tried are working with MAME 2003 but thats with an S905x box. The only ones I couldn't get working were the NeoGeo one's but they run fine in finalburn alpha. Have you tried using clr mamepro to convert your roms to make sure they are the correct romset for MAME2003?

Got Yabause libretro core working (well using the word "working" is a very loose term to use), It works but haven't found any games that play at any decent FPS. niabi wondering if you could try compiling it for are systems to see if that makes it run better.

I also took a look at virtualjaguar libretro core. The core will load but I couldn't launch any games.
