Tnx Randy, great work, your builds work great (tried Kasty, but as I saw you mention somewhere it indeed eats my battery alive).
1.4 (sdk2.0) runs definately better then previous images. Only haven't got multi user to work yet. Still stuck at:
Add:
fw.max_users=5
to build.prop, then rebooting, enables the feature. This allows up to 5 users, change the number as desired.
This did actually add user section into settings menu and allowed to add user. However when log in with second user it hangs on com.android.provision.DefaultActivity. Original user still works fine.

Will try 1.5 next week (and play with multiuser) when I've got more time on my hands.

p.s. Donation has been made, spend it wisely or buy a few beers

Okay,

I'm getting really irritated at Pipo. They continue to want a video to verify that there is a problem with the touchscreen. I've emailed them 2 different videos, and posted on YouTube.

They claim they can't view the download or the YouTube video. So, they want another video taken. I just want this tablet to work the way it should!!!!

IMHO, it is the best Android tablet made right now, and I want to use it to its full potential. But, I can't do that right now!

Actually, 1.7 is out, too.

I gather that the newest ROM is better...but if you read the 1.6 and 1.7 threads, some users are testing combinations of kernels and ROM's.
