Thanks bob i got it now... indeed i was just wondering if their any possible way to install a 3g driver on bt07, And that is why i happen to ask an update regarding the same. i am pretty much clear now.

In-fact just installed the rom it works amazingly well

Can anyone suggest a good torrent client for my android tab..? I am using tTorrent full. But the problem is...... the tab is hanged after a while i start downloading any file using this client. Kindly assist.

You probably should have started a new thread on this since it's off topic. I can say most private torrent sites dislike or disallow the use of torrent clients on mobile devices. However, I hear aDownloader is the best client for android.

How to...!

HEY BOB AND BIBTAB,

Ever since i happen to install this Rom, I am unable to the use the home launcher screen. In-fact after downloading GOLAUCHER app it doesn't appear in the installed apps list how to fix this up. Coz i personally don't like the other launcher app and the iberry home screen with the dock as much compered to the golauncher please advice,

Also while updating the firmware something unusual happens it shows checking firmware after downloading and goes off and a error msg cums up stating update not performed, successful < 0> : fail :< 1>
Is that just me or how to fix it.

Thank you very much for your great work for cooking iBerry BT-07 - Finless 1.4 Full Root ROM. I updated my tablet and it works very well.
I have found out a way to make a single file update.img from all the Kernal.img, boot.img, system.img etc.(from the 7 files in the image folder of your rooted firmware). Instead of useing RK29update.exe tool we can use the same RKBatchTool.exe(original iberry firmware update tool).
Just simply follow the steps below
1. Download the tool from this link http://www.4shared.com/zip/FcNgxsbs/mkupdate.html
which i downloaded from internet THANKS for the person who developed the tool.

2. Unzip the file and extract the mkupdate folder on the desktop.
3. From the folder iBerry_BT07_finless _v1_4_gplay(Rooted firmware by Finless folder), COPY the image folder(contains 7 files) and PASTE inside the mkupdate folder(in step2).
4. Now open the mkupdate folder in that you can see image folder, again open the image folder COPY all the 7 files and PASTE in the mkupdate folder when it asks for copy and replace copy and replace the original file in mkupdate folder. The image folder should also be in the mkupdate folder with all the 7 files.
5. Now CLICK mkupdate.bat (run as administrator in win7 and vista). This tool will start and create the update.img file and when it is finished Press any key to continue will appear then press any key that's all you are done.
6. So simple now open the mkupdate folder, then image folder inside it you will see update.img as a single file.
7. Copy the update.img file and replace the original BT07-Jan-Update update.img file by iberry and follow the same instructions by iberry.

Yes I know how to make a update.img using AFPtools and mkupdate. I prefer not to do that because people think they can just copy that to the SDcard and it will update. I was doing it like that before and too many people wrote about it not working. So I went to the rk29 tool. This tool also allows me to make fixes without having to flash an entire ROM. e.g. if I just change someting in boot.img I can have people just flash boot.img and not the entire ROM. Download time is short too.

I am useing your Finless 1.4 Full Root ROM but after installing and uninstalling some applications the tablet is not Powering off even hours together.


THERE IS A HUGE BUG IN THE ROM

If there is a bug in the ROM then it is also in the stock ROM. All I did was root it. I changed nothing that would change how it powers off. Chances are something you installed or did caused this. Also no one else so far has complained about this before.

I mean Device not Powering off(switching off) at all i tried for more then 3 hours. Finally i reseted(pressing reset botton) the device when it booted up i tried to Factory reset that also failed. Atlast i reflashed my device with the original iberry firmware.

It's not a ROM problem. It's what your STOCK ROM tells Google, etc what your device is! It is easily fixed.

Read this post in the Nextbook forum for how to edit build.prop and change what Google thinks you are
