I just happen to change and update the values of build.prop, works smooth now i am able to download all possible games and able to play them. THANK YOU for the FIX. U ROCK....!

Shuting down problem...

After I flashed the 1.4latest ROM I am satisfied with improvement in the ROM and root acess but some time back it starts shutdown but never completes it for 2 -3 hours only option left is reset and reboot.But even after rebooting it is not getting shutdown complete...again I have reflased STOCK ROM and now it is working fine and shuting down smoothly...as I cant understand much in rooting I prefer to rollback and hope after issue is setteled as raised by Mr. advnar

I mean Device not Powering off(switching off) at all i tried for more then 3 hours. Finally i reseted(pressing reset botton) the device when it booted up i tried to Factory reset that also failed. Atlast i reflashed my device with the original iberry firmware.

ganeshthevar.....format your memory card then

WARNING! Remove your SDCard when flashing this ROM!!! There is a risk it can be ERASED!!!
there was a suggestion/warning from BOB/Finless so SD card was removed. I will retry and reflash 1.4 full root rom and will share my experience. Thanks ganeshthevar and biplab for sharing your views..

I am in a little comfusion. My RK29 device has a 4GB CARD on board. I shall request you to kindly explain how you divided the memory for firmware, app installation space & free space for saving other files etc. I guess i cannot utilize the whole out of 4 GB(3.8GB approx.)

The 4gB internal memory is divided up into 3 parts:

OS usage - which you have NO control over. Uses about 512K to 1GB of space depending on the OS.
Stock the Tablet was already assigned 1GB of app space. I did not change that.
In the end a 4GB tablet will have only about 2GB of space left.

Hi BoB, it was nice to have rooted BT07 but next thing comes in mind---can we have upgrade ROM for higher and more efficient versions of gingerbread 2.3.x on our BT07 and any remote possibility of ICS upgrade for it...your advice help will keep BT07 a useful device for days to come...

This all depends if the manufacturer produces an upgraded Rom either Gingerbread or Icecream sandwich. To be honest from what I have seen on this unless your bought a top brand tablet you tend to be stuck with what it comes with, the only you thing you may get is bug updates.
