H96 Pro Plus short pin unbrick help

guys .. i keep on failing at 16% while flashing with usb burning tools... 0x30403003]UBOOT/Partition system/Download buffer/Data tranfer error
any idea whats the solution ?

I read somewhere a while ago that you can try unplugging the USB cable then plug it back in. Sometimes this restarts your USB connection. Nothing to lose if it doesn't work.

Here is a case of pure enlightenment I've been reading this forum and some others and i have been asking me which ddr ver do my box has, some sites say ddr4 others ddr3 and sh*t I'm lost here, but then i read you got both versions of the same box running the same firmware, great all my questions are answered with your post thanks you really enlighted things to me, just one question tho, haw the f**k do i find which kind of memory is my box using i already opened it but all writing is unreadable, I'm going nuts here, please end my suffering

I opened both of the H96 Pro Plus boxes I have today to try and help you out. One clearly says it's "MAIN(DDR4)" ram right on the board in plain sight and a sticker with "CZ 3G+32G+9377 JOB 20170218" printed on it. On the back side of the board it has these numbers "CZ-S32-V3(DDR4) 2016-12-15(A15)" printed on the board.
The other box had nothing but a sticker "3g+32G+9377 21070411" on the one side I could see but on the other side of the board I was surprised to find out that it also is DDR4 ram. It had "2017-02-10 H96-S912-TVBOX(DDR4)-VO.2" printed right on the board.
I assumed this box was DDR3 (it didn't say MAIN(DDR4) on the board like my other one) until I looked at the back side of the card. I guess I assumed wrong. Just a different version of DDR4. It pays to look at both sides of the card.

Thanks to many of you people, I brought my h96 pro+ ddr4 from the dead, I used a male to male cable connected to the pc, and pin short the Samsung chip, on the 5 and 6 pins on the left, while running the amolgic USB burn tool, till it was detected by de PC, I used this video https://youtu.be/KO0o7eWnCCA as a guide, but instead os hitting the reset I short the pins on the Samsung chip. It is brand new again. Thank you all for the help. Sorry my bad English

Hello all i ve a H96 pro plus DDR 3 and since i receive it i never can launch it. the only think i ve ever see is the yellow logo of h96 pro.
i try to flash some img but nothing new. still have black screen and nothing on HDMI... does it factory bricked or factory default?

is it really DDR3 ??? did u saw it on Chip , never trust the Specs they gave ,what about a better Powersupply with more /mah/ , (3000)

not really , but buy for sure one with more /mah/ 3000 shall be enough , why dont u use the big Bay .

Remember always the same Voltage , only more mah from 2000 to 3000mah .

I think it shall be better for your Box if u use a CustomRom . Later i can guide you to a Rom for your

I would like to put a armbian following balbes150 tutorial but I don't find the local update...

H96 Pro Plus Umbrick i have this box and it was bricked so what i did was i downloaded superceleron h96 pro plus scv4 for ddr3 and ddr4 it is a 7.1.2 rom and i puted in a sdcard using the burn card metod then after the computer finishes i got the card to the box pluged the hdmi cable power on tv power on box with tooth pic inserted and gess what it started to flash now all is well, try this, let me know

I can flash using your method, but when it's finished I can see the superceleron android picture but nothing append... It's freeze on picture.
now it's better, I've an image and see the green android bar .Before flashing with sd card I was flashing with usb cable but never see h96 Pro picture or superceleron picture...only blackscreen

Okay now you do the same thing all over again but with the stock rom if is like mine the usb connection will never work again so back to stock same method and hopefully you get yor box back
