I intend to buy this box. Is it worth it or would it have another better box in the same price range?

Today (finally) we have the OTA update, so far Apps mentioned above can now be loaded in...
Also the update to 7.1.2 Android.

Very cut down system UI....
And OK on Antutu even tho I say mention no proof of 5000 on youtube...Hmm
well see what we have to offer with unit.

I wonder how it got the score ( 41353 ). Mine is super slow and crashes often.

i just installed this about 30 minutes ago and ran it..
As I could not previous....

These Boxes alway start a little ruff but get sorted sooner or later and with any luck a custom rom may appear and all will be better that it is but all takes time

Sounds like a project box. LOL
I thought Zidoo X6Pro was slow. This one is slower. Mecool BB2 Pro is a much faster box when I tried two of them. I thought this was even better having newer OS and more ram in DDR4.
Try playing a 1080 movie for an hour or so. Mine kept crashing.

If you're using Kodi and all that JUNK addons., maybe not helping
try a reflash start fresh see what happens, avoid the installed kodi try FTMC

Yep one Hot box this unit......Idle we are running about 55c, Testing with 3dmark we peaked at 80c
Temp in upper centre of screen,
Tin lid good for keeping the Heat In.

The built in Kodi is a little faster. Installed Xenon build on it.
Installed FTMC fork via Android Buddy 2. Horrible. Dog.
Box definitely gets hot. Had overheating and turned it off. Lay it on it's side.
Not much clearance at the bottom. This box needs to be on it's side with a USB fan.

Never had this kind of problems on Mi Box or Mecool BB2 Pro. Had some problems with Zidoo X6 Pro but nothing close to this box's.

Not that bad from what I can tell. Seems normal to the touch .After turning off for some 5 minutes, it cooled off a bit.
I'm still getting a USB notebook fan though. It's a cheap precaution.
If there's a software that I can install to check it's working conditions, let me know.
I'm all for helping all hobbyists here.
I still consider this a hobby. Used to be on satellite tv programming and emulation hobby too till it died.


Scooter, I don't know what a build number is. Serial number on the box is 238209 if that helps.

If you can install CPU temp pure it will overlay and lets see some of them numbers.

The launcher is disappointment. I installed nova but does not begin startuo. Must have press home button to switch launcher. how can solve this problem. Launcher must change for better using expreince

Launcher is pretty basic and can't be changed, I think.
