    Thanks!

RKAndroidTool, which marked items I leave?
I want to leave my tablet in the best way possible.
Can I make a backup of my current tablet?
That is, if you dont like this or have any problem, just install the previous stay the same (apps)?

Someone on page 2 of the Rileyrom 1.6 forum posted a codexsound HD 4.3 mod link maybe that's what you read?
I dont think the codexsound mod will work on latest 1.8 rom, as that codec only works on sammy roms. Sure you could flash it in CWM but if you go into settings you wont get the option to enable it, tried and tested here.

Since you are rooted, you can install Titanium Backup to your tablet and backup apps and data. Make sure you have your backup folder on your external SD. It will be erased is you have it on the internal storage.

When I flash a new ROM, after a reboot...the first thing I do is go to Google Play Store and install Titanium. (I strongly recommend getting the paid version...it unlocks the ability to restore without having to confirm every app) I do "Restore Missing Apps with Data". This puts EVERYTHING back as you had it, including your launcher settings.

I just do a backup before I begin to flash a new ROM...that way it is exactly the same as it was before I flashed. Be sure to remove your external SD before flashing, so you don't risk erasing your backup.

Thanks @rrileypm.The only problem is that I am not able to root my tablet.
          I will not even backup.
Just answer me one thing, just let the RK3188Loader(L)_V1.20.bin unchecked in RKAndroidTool?

          - Correct?

ericksonsilva, the problem is that your computer doesn't seem to recognize an rkandroid device. have you followed the steps correctly?
First, make sure you connect the usb cable to the usb port and not to host.
Also, have you pressed the power button + the reset button at the rear of your tablet? Make sure that you have disabled usb debug mode.

Maybe you have messed up installing the drivers. use system restore and try to install the drivers again. Do not allow windows to install the drivers automatically. Install them manually, just to be on the safe side...

I suggest you download one of the latest RileyROMs for your tablet if you don't have already - and read the included First Time User Guide. If you follow the instructions in that documentation, installing the drivers and flashing new firmware should be easy. I also reccommend you take a look at the FAQ / Q&A (questions an answers) section at the bottom of the document. This part will answer the most common questions and issues.

Leave everything else as is and tick the loader. That's the way I do it...

                      Correct.

I have a battery issue. I charged my battery all the way yesterday afternoon. I've used the tablet in three separate occasions since. It is now at 88% but I've only used the tablet for a total of 16 minutes (web browsing mainly). Can anyone help me? How many hours do you keep your m9 charging? I unplug it as soon as it says that the battery is fully charged (after 3hours and a half, maybe)... Could it be a calibration issue? I always shut down the tablet when I'm not using it and I always switch off wifi before shutting down...
Is the red light supposed to turn off when the battery is fully charged?Cause it never does, despite android reporting that the battery is fulle charged...

Booting/rebooting does consume quite (relative) alot of battery. Guessing thats where your juice went. Also, expect around 2% drop/hour in sleep mod, even with wifi(and 3g) off.

Thanks for the heads up, madweegie.
Pr0xZen, what do you mean by sleep mode? I don't hibernate the tablet or just turn off the screen. I always shut the tablet down if I'm not using it. Is that what sleep mode means? Are you telling me that I should expect a loss of 2% battery juice for every hour the tablet is shut down?!
Anyways, as it turns out I haven't been charging the battery properly and it is the first time I've noticed such battery depletion. Still, I am not at ease... Hope everything is ok...

This ROM is a bit hotter on battery but it runs like a champ, make sure u install MX player with the ARMv7 NEON codec and it handles 1080p videos with ease, great for watching blu-ray rips.
