How to fix android error 923
1. In your android phone, go to Setting > Data > Google Play, from this, you do unchecked restrict background data and killing all tasks.
2. Back to Google Play store, re-try to download app again.
If you done 2 steps above, it still not working. You may have a cause of network cut out. You can try to connect other network of WiFi and download it again.
Or go to Mobile data settings - Reset your APN
Hope this information is useful for you

Hello Riley,
I'm trying to understand how to make a custom rom, so i dump you Rom and i compare it to the stock.
I will see they are several modifications in the system.img :
/apps -> delete and adding apps to the ROM
/bin -> about root i think ?
/etc -> creation of the init.d folder and modification of the permissions
/media -> you marvelous bootanimation.zip
/xbin -> about rooting ??
i have fews questions if you have some times to answers ?
1. when you do your custom rom, did you di it manually or with a script who automize all the modifications ?
2. how did you do the root of the rom ? it is just copying some files in the right directory or they are some script to patch ?
3. what the init.d empty folder for ?
Can you tell me if only the system.img have to be patch or the others img too ?
thanks for your answers

On Russian community (4pda), all users that have tried new firmware, are very excited about it.
I will definitely flash it instead of RileyROM 1.7.
All are saying that it is much more stable that video playback is smoother and so on.
I thought that I will wait RileyROM 1.9 but you refused to make it...
Very sad...
Anyway thanks for your work.Pipo M9 3G (RileyROM 1.7 with SDK 2.0)

Pardon me for sounding like I was refusing to make this ROM. Based on the initial reports, I heard that it was only SDK 1...and it didn't run very well.
I don't follow the Russian forums, so I couldn't know that there were positive reviews.
If everyone wants a new ROM, I will make one.
I'm still setting up my new laptop, so I've been focused on it literally all day. I'll try to cook a new ROM as soon as I get my computer running again.
Stay tuned!!!!!!!Randy

Hi.
First of all thank you for your effort making this rom!
I've flashed my pipo m9 for the first time with the RileyRom 1.8.
Following your instructions everything worked fine.
I feel a little confused as the intro animation says RileyRom 1.6
And using System Tuner, in the build section under "ro.rksdk.version" says:
RK31_ANDROID4.2.2-SDK-1.04.00
Does it means this isn't SDK 2.00?
Can you confirm?
Thanks a lot.
By the way. No problems after several hours of use.
Keep on!

Sorry, the animation has the wrong number on it. My bad.
This one doesn't appear to be SDK 2.0...but they could have just forgot to change the line in build.propRandy

That's the same version everyone is saying reverts back to SDK 1.0.
I'll go ahead and make a ROM today with this version. I don't know what to call it, though...since it isn't SDK 2.0...I really don't want to make it v1.9.
Sorry for the delay. This has been one hell of a week. Work has been crazy at both jobs, and I have been fighting this new laptop I got. I can't get my VM to run Ubuntu.Randy

My opinion is that you should keep your bullet for a better firmware... Your 1.8 version is working like a charm! It's not the 1rst time than Pipo release firmwares worses than the previous one...
The firmware with the multi window option should be released soon, better for everyone that you work on this one

I tend to agree with that.
I have a new M9 Pro and an M7 Pro ROM to kick out, so I think I will let this one slide for now.Randy
