I used the prmvidlnch.apk and it worked for me, but the direct download has been deleted so now you seem to need to use Puppetmaster to get it downloaded.

I can't make the prmvidlnch.apk install. I've installed PuppetMaster, it downloads PRMVIDLNCH.apk, but gives me the "can't analise the package" error. Tried 3 times.

I dont have any wifi issues using this rom

I have mate but very very randomly the wifi turn off and on itself in few seconds, and that dont happen on any other device i have, but i read on other sites is maybe because i have two wifis detecting and one of them is a free wifi and this new androids has a faulty and try to connect to them instead of stable on the main wifi, if it is is that the problem someone knows how i can prevent the rom to do that? so it cant disconnect itself? cause i belive is not a router problem neither this device but maybe this kind of android versions that do that

Hi guys i bought this box and install this rom cause the stock rom is very poor not say the least, and this is working great, but i see that wifi sometimes and randomly turn off and on automatic , anyone has a fix for this? or will be a update to fix this to stable the wifi? or this is because detecting an open wifi near mine? cause is a bit anoying in middle of stream or see movies this stop in kodi because of this bug or error, another thing need this room is maybe a improvement of image cause sometimes i put hd on youtube or full hd and videos seam take a while to accept the quality i put there, hope it will be future update to improve this little bugs and great work on this rom

The only way to fix the m8s pro+ boxes with the faulty emmc is to replace the emmc. Maybe you can flash a firmware that works, but it's not a firmware issue, it's hardware related and the data still corrupts.
Without an emmc you can still boot the amlogic into recovery mode and it connects to the usb burning tool, but if you try to flash something it says that theres an DDR error. Quite funny.

Anyways, I've bought a 16GB kingston BGA emmc out of egay for 7,70 euro and replaced the faulty emmc with the new one. Also I've put a recovery-button, changed the headsink (40x40x11) and put a raspberry pi fan (30x30x7) on it..
Unfortunately I lost the widevine keys and I don't have tools to read and write the original emmc chip standalone, but the keys are probably broken anyways. Maybe I can copy them from an another box, but I'm not gonna try that.
Of course not everyone can do that, but it is possible to fix.

Works but low res - may be a newer version now but I think still low res.

Install PuppetMaster

Then use Tag in PuppetMaster
PRMVIDLNCH

Install PrimeVideoLauncher from Downloads
RUN --> Install PrimeVideo when prompted to.
Run PrimeVideo
Log In etc.

I'm asking a question which I admit to not fully understanding but do you know if its possible to implement in your builds support for standard Google Mediacodec rather than Amlogic Amcodec? While not new news, starting with Kodi Krypton, Kodi Android builds no longer supports Amcodec meaning using most Amlogic Android boxes as Kodi PVR frontend results in unreliable deinterlacing and mpeg2/ h.264 1080i hardware decoding. The work around is to use an old version of Kodi or LibreELEC but is there anything you can do in your firmware to support Google Mediacodec?

Support for Google Mediacodec is desirable. Most IPTV apks works really bad because lack of it.

I can't burn it via USB unless there is no device in windows recognized.

Via SD card is not clear how I need to do it on a bricked device.

As I tried to explain I just see the red and blue light at the same time independent of pressing reset button or shortcut "K1"

Hi,

I actually read a lot of success with flashing the new FW on the crashing devices. I used the file from here:

The Version is: M8S PRO+ ota 20171124.183803.V0928.zip

I tried it directly from UI with the local update. Unfortunately I used "wipe data" and "wipe media" Buttons...
The Flash process went well, but after rebooting the box Shows red and blue at the same time. Unfortunately it doesn't boot anymore and also the reset button or shortcut at the "K1" Position on the bottom does not help to get in USB-Flashing-Tool a device shown anymore.

Unfortunately the Flash throug USB-Flashing-Tool didn't work, so I did it with the SD-Card Methode through zip file.

Also of Course I have one of the bad devices with the Chip:

Does anyone have suggestions to unbrick the device? The flashing was completed and seemed to work well. Is there also something like MARKROM MODE for the AMLOGIC-Devices to unbrick it with flashing the Firmware again?

I am really desperate after I read so much and didn't find the Samsung-Logo and thought it is ok to Flash my device. It was not usuabel because of a lot of reboots and Kodi 17.6 always crashed after a few seconds of trying to Play a movie...
