Today I had a black screen when I was watching a drama on viki, so I tried to restart the h96 pro +, after the launch logo, I still have a black screen.

I've solved my freezing problem.

I had to disable the camera application (google?).

I've turned off the box one night and the next morning it was on. I hit the turn on/off button on the remote but nothing happened then I hit it multiple times and then it turned off and then turned on again.
I've checked the tv and it has shown multiple dialogs about that the camera has problems. (I don't remember the exact texts)
After disabling this built in application the freezing disappeared. I am wondering what tried to use the non existent camera. I've only installed Magisk, Total Commander, Kodi, Throughput Test Client, VLC, Plex.

You have to open the Box and check color of Your PCB.
If it's blue than You use image for blue.
If it's green than You should use green one, but there is so many variants of green that it may not work (however it seems to work on most of the variants of H96 Pro+).

Flashing it with Usb Burning tool 2.0.8 work great had a blue board device

Only some question how I can install PVR Client in FTMC or is that not the right tool for it of course i can install kodi normal over playstore but want to test simple iptv with FTMC or did some one know a better app for it

I have install the latest version of this rom, but I can't get passthrough working and DTS-HD reconized on my AVR.

On libreelec passthrough was OK in kodi with the same box, so that really a wonder to me...

Any idea ?

Edit : I do have HDMI raw activated in the settings

Edit 2 : Kodi have the HD-audio option, but not FTMC, but kodi struggle with 4k vids...

Kodi 17 should be able to output dts-hd just fine. On my box it does. But Kodi does not support amcodec and is therefore unusable
FTMC is based on Kodi 16 - no HD output there.
This is one of the main reasons I run (24/7, because of power on-off issue on LE) libreelec on my box (fron sd-card) . SC Android is still there and its very good, just not for watching movies...

USB male2male can be used only to flash SCV1 (or SCV4 for "Normal" rom). OTA has to be updated using Update app (already installed on SCV1/SCV4) or manually using TWRP (should be available as well).
