Will it be OK to install this ROM on Mecool M8S PRO L 4K TV Box Amlogic S912 Bluetooth 4.1 + HS - VOICE REMOTE CONTROL ( 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM ) will the voice remote control work?

Another thing. In the playstore there is not Netflix to install. So I've downloaded it from aptoide, but it does not work in HD. I have also tried Amazon prime video, and in this rom it works, but like Netflix, only in SD quality. The rom works very well, but it has these 2 problems that I can not solve.

The update is signed, so you should be able to install from the Amlogic update app or through either TWRP or stock recovery. It's a full block-based update, and so will replace the entire system, boot, dtb, bootloader and logo partitions. I would also recommend you do a data wipe, just to ensure a clean slate.

Guest Thanks for answering. In the rom of celeron does not work any app to make mirroring, so I'll try your rom. Can I install this rom from the app update while in scv2? Or do I have to install it from the twrp doing wipe?

See the release notes for information about Google Cast. Basically, it only works from the Chrome browser because the OEM never got a license from Google. There are several 3rd-party apps you can install that will enable casting, though.

As for Amazon Prime Video, I've heard (but not verified personally) that the non-ATV version runs fine, but maxes out at 1080p. Supposedly, there's an Android TV version in the works, but no one has been able to download it yet. https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/0...actually-work/

Hi. Thank you very much for the Rom. Does Miracast or chromecast work well? And Amazon prime video? I'm in another rom(scv2) that does not work any of these apps. And I would like to have them working.

i can only recommend your rom, stable and fast.

with aptoide i was able to install all needed application

and btw this little box was able to boot to libreelec directly from microsd inserted in tf slot! awesome

If you read the original post, you'll see that my design philosophy is to replicate a "clean" Nexus device from Google. I won't bundle 3rd-party apps, especially if they can easily be downloaded a la carte from the Google Play Store.

This three dashed remote trigger works like a charm. Thank you all again for clear my point of view per upgrading without a reset button.

Type "reboot update" from any terminal window. Otherwise, you've got to short the reset pads on the PCB.

when you use this 2 options if all is ok you do not go to recovery but you start upgrade procces only time that this will fail is if img is damage and then you will be back to recovery

Then it was obviously my fault. My sd card wasnt prepared ok for flashing.
