I have to say though, Minix are leaps ahead of the competition, great product and support on their forum, I feel sure the issues will be dealt with and the X7 is a great buy, no regrets

I have tried to troubleshoot the forced shut down but it is almost impossible as a reboot erases demsg and logcat!
If I get some time I am going to make a script that keep dumping these to sdcard and maybe I can catch what is going on. However with that said I have only had a forced shutdown twice! So unless it happens to me, I wont be able to find it.
Are you guys with the shutdown issues using the Airpin boot?
In this new ROM I am going to remove the launcherNEW crap. I am also going to see if I can remove the unremovable google search bar.
Also google has update some apps as well as Airplay has un update.
As for other stuff cant help with the NFL thing.
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju Å¡to čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

No Bob, not running Airpin
The issue for me at least comes during bulk data transfer only, last night I had a few too many beers and fell asleep while watching a TV series over MX, woke up this morning and it was still running perfectly. If I run Titanium or restore a XBMC backup though I fear the worst.

Regarding removing the google search bar, if your using another launcher like NOVA launcher for example it keeps its menus along that bar so removing it causes issues - There's actually an option in NOVA to remove this... I tried it removing the search bar but then couldn't access my apps or settings afterwards so had to delete & reinstall it to default.
As everyone else seems to be mentioning, these shutdowns do all seem to happen when your trying to load/run something. If you just leave it doing nothing it seems to be fine.
Thanks for the hard work Bob it's appreciated!

I've tried both official 720p/1080p & Finless 720p/1080p & get shutdowns on all of them however on official FW I get lots of system freezes as well which I don't get on either of the Finless ROMS. So Finless is the better FW to go with as you only get the shutdowns & not the added system freezes as well!

Generally I am not having any crashes, but there is one time that my system crashes... EVERY time... not a random crash. After playing a video, from my local server (Serviio), XBMC crashes my system when I exit the program. Since I know this happens, I don't exit, I just hit the home button. Avoids the crash but leaves XBMC in memory (I think)... so every now and then I use ES Task Manager to clean out memory. So I have no random crashes. I am using 12.1 XAF NEON for my XBMC... and MX Player NEON codec pack as my player. And I am using live wallpaper, Shark Reef. I have tried to turn off all notifications... but I still get them, I have not setup email or any phone related stuff (all that seems pointless in a media center box as far as I am concerned).

Besides the dock icons, I only have a couple of other icons on the home screen... I am definitely minimalist.

Agree that adding the stafstroms patch would be awesome, although I believe it also needs a custom version of XBMC as well ;-)
