UPDATED - Minix Neo X7 - Finless 1.5a ROM

No need to get desperate. I'm sure Minix or someone here will fix this. I have been experimenting on another TV. Like magic I had much more options in the HDMI settings. (I never knew this was determined by the monitor you use) Setting the resolution/framerate to 1920x1080p-24 made The Hobbit clip run smooth

24HZ setting in this form is not viable for me atleas, it still have stutter but fewer apart. And tv-apps is unwatchable unless you change back to 60HZ and that is not an option for me.

But i am sure somone will come up with a solution, i feel like som kind adaptive HZ recognition would be nice.

Thinking some more on that 24Hz setting. When set to 24Hz setting does it use exactly 24Hz or do it use true 23.976Hz?

I found a android box called Tizzbird and they have no problems with stutter it seems. Anyone here tested a tizzbird and can confirm smooth videplayback? I found a test and it seems like video playing perfect, check link below.

hi, i tried 1.5 but in the end had to go back to stock. netflix still runs like crap (no offence) i like your builds just i dont understand why the minix wont play netflix right. it kept freezing and in the end would not boot up anymore.

what is it with this minix box? i thought it was supposed to be the best out there? even the picture when compared to my vizio co-star on 1channel isn't close to as nice. just got it yesterday and really trying to like it but as the bad video on this is discouraging.

any positive outlook or (no offence) is there a build out there from anyone that makes this worth keeping?

If you want Netflix to run well, you need to use the version posted on the bottom of this post. You must uninstall the Google Play version first due to different signatures.

Yes, this just changes the bitrate for Netflix, thereby improving quality. I prefer the bottom one with a higher minimum bitrate. You can try any of them and see which works best for you.

Mike , can you please re-upload the version Netflix 2.4.1 (build 950) Maximum 3850 kbps ? it seem the rapidshare is down now , and i can not download it .

Those aren't my links. You're best bet is to ask the person who posted them originally. I can up the bottom (min bitrate) and the top (unlimited bitrate) to a different hoster when I get home from work.
