what , PLEASE STOP using Mediatek Tools for Rockchip PCBs , that is TOTAL WRONG , i posted that i will

upload all Tools & Drivers for your needs , PLEASE WAIT with that , here are Drivers & Tools :

download , then uninstall all the MTK shit & reboot , after that is done install the Drivers first , install them

1: Used Factory Tool 1.45 set in upgrade mode and firmware selected
2: Connected MALE to MALE USB A cable with a USB/C connector to USB port on PC and C port on Box (PC port was USB 3 but cable I used isnt so I dont think it matters - USB 3 or 2)
3 After connecting cables Press down reset button and hold
4 Whilst reset button held down Connect box AC power lead - release reset button
5 Check Factory tool has detected box as loader
6 Hit start and wait to finish

Worked seemlessly. The firmware is nice and smooth. I changer default launcher for microsoft launcher which works fine.

I was using the wrong software to flash. Once I used the ones quoted in the post above, everything worked at first try.

I was using the Batch tool but it made the box stuck on logo.
Once I tried the tool on the pack above it worked on the first try.

Nixcore, 8.1 is already released and rooted (https://chinagadgetsreviews.com/down...ro-tv-box.html) but Nova launcher does not work....couldn't find any good launcher to work....CAN'T DRAG icons to the front screen.....it sucks

this is the X99 Thread , not RK3328 BlaBla , no 8.1 or 9 until now for our Box ,

try Pixel Launcher saw it somewhere else here ( Hint of User ) ,

Question: is the H96 Max rk3399 and the X99 rk3399 the same? They look exactly the same to me. If so the TWRP for the H96 MAX should work in the X99 tv box. Give me some thoughts, I might try it.

not sure if TWRP shall work , you can only try it , but never heard or read about TWRP

in the H96Max Thread , Pixel Launcher was only a Hint of another User , hope you get
