Then you can reinstall the old version and copy the folders with the settings and skins just back again if the new version is not working for you. Go to XBMC Wiki page to see where it installs and the userdata folder. I don't say this method will work 100%, but it's worth a shot.
Oh Yes, the MiniX XBMC installs as standalone so you can have the MiniX XBMC and normal XBMC both on the device and they have their own settings as the MiniX XBMC installs into a seperate MiniX XBMC directory and not the normal XBMC directory.
Just remember to change your build.prop file Manufacturer to Samsung and device to GT-I9300 for the MiniX version to work. No need to change rom. Use this version.

1) Running on a newer 'stable' version of XBMC, with the minor fixes and android improvements.
2) Cache can be adjusted to the internal flash, meaning if you stream video content it can buffer to over 1gb of free space, this is broken on the 2/19 version.
3) Power options have been improved, restart or shutdown from XBMC (shutdown only make's it sleep, will never be fixed)
4) No more advancedsettings.xml for GPU decoding if build.prop is set correctly.
If you can live without any of that, stick with the 2/19 version. The power options make it however very good as a launcher if you boot directly to XBMC.Currently Using:
2 x Nvidia Shield TV | MiniMX III
Retired Devices:
MiniMX III-II | Mk808b Pro | Mk808b Plus | Raspberry Pi 1 + 2 | UBOX R89 | MK808 | MK808b | CS008 | X1 4K (rk3288_809) | CYX_809III | Ouya | CX-919 | S82 Plus | Tronstmart R68

Great rom, really smooth, I'm having an issue with the screen goes black for no reason, it doesn't lose signal it just goes black. Sometimes when in XBMC I get a dark navy blue screen and the only thing that remedies is powering off the unit. Is there any solution to this?Last edited by EGM92; 11 January 2014, 22:02.

Hello everyone,
I installed this rom on my MK808B and it works very well, Antutu over 12000, Epic Citadel 32fps (720p).
I would like to try kizs V4 720p kernel but I can not find a valid link.
Does someone can put it on again, I searched all the links and no one works...
Just few questions to be sure:
Does wifi and BT, work well with kizs kernel?.
Also, do I need additional cooling after flashing this kernel or not?
Currently, after several hours of use and my mk808b heating a bit, Antutu benchmark occasionally shows small artifacts (thin horizontal lines in 2D and 3D test).
Is this normal or should I have to put some cooling right now (my room was quite warm)?
I also tested Walkman rom (nov 2013 and latest xbmc one) and he is also fast, but I have a poblem when I use games in the emulator because the sound lags a lot, I donot know why.
In other applications, this is not happening only in some emulators eg. Spectaculator.
