Thank's mate for the fast reply, only two questions.

1) How to backup the current rom
2) How do I update the new one(any guide)?

P.S. I'm familiar with CWM and EXT Recoveries but that's it :P (the irony is that my job is about computers but never really got deep into android). My Cozyswan S400 board has a date 2013-05-23 (but from what I understand I've got the new version as my wifi chip is new)

I don't care about the apps(I never really use it because of this damn shuttering which occurs every few secs, it's like watching a video with 15fps which is irritating). My Cozyswan S400 came with the rom rooted so if I wanted to do an app backup it would be piece of cake. I'd like to backup the rom itself(just in case I want to use the warranty :P - hopefully not)

P.S. Thanks for the link to your guide, also a dumb question about your guide.. do I have my S400 on it's power supply when I will connect it to my pc or not?

Two ways. First on serial number but didn't know if you find it on the Housing.
The best is open the Case and look inside.
Or you can first install the Rom for Realtek WiFi and see of it Work of not install Rom for AP6210.

Just open the case carefully, you won't find out what wifi chip you've got written outside the case. You might find it if there was some papers with your stick and had technical specs and in that case you might be lucky

I have two MK809III one of them looses signal from TV when connected for a few hours. It looks like over heating or something. Anyone has this problem?

I have re flashed and still happens. Using 720P kernel.

Is there any other ROM i can try to see if this happens? Maybe I can flash some other with this kernel to see if this happens? Will WIFI and BT work?

I will make a New Kernel for the MK809 Devices.
Think the Devices are a little piggy with Overclock Kernel.

I recently bought a Cloudnetgo CR9 usb stick, I already tested in my tv. Seems a bit laggy in some wifi-dependent app.
I read some threads in this forum but there are so much information here...
I founded how to flash a rom thread: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...H-A-CUSTOM-ROM, founded sam321 kernel page http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...h-RTL8188-WiFi, and some threads about NEOTV Roms.
Can you advise me wich rom version should I install?
PS:I will use xmbc a lot.

Hi.

I had a problem with poor wifi speed (near 1 MBps) with MK809 III. The problem was in WiFi mode - my router was switched in 'Only b' mode. After I switched it in 'b/g/n' mode, its all OK. (old realteck wifi)

If anybody have the same troubles - try to do it.

Tried to root my CR9 but when I'm installing drivers manually windows don't let me, this error apears:
"the folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device" already tried different drivers, tried in different computers Win7, XP, x32, x64 ... allways gives me this error msg...
Can anyone help me?
It must be rooted to instal NeoTV CROM right ?
