The boxes have the Key and with the level one certification it should work. Yes Netflix charges for checking and certification of device. (If it changes it will break most that didn't because only devices tested get the update. ) It does not block as some suggest China boxes. It's all to do with the certification so now they to go check what changed and re certify Google level one. That is no cost just time. Explained better here but in principle should work with level one being re certification as keys already present.
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

So you suggest that google has changed something with Widevine Level 1 lately?
Few days ago m8s pro L works normal but it had to has some BurnKeyTools-V1.03 installed -wtf1. You can't install netflix directly from play store cause it say that device is improper(nexus) -wtf2. This mecool box had from the beginning Widevine Level 1 and there was no any mecool software changes so it should work but it doesn't. It looks like the box has been being blocked on purpose.

Hi guys,
I'm having issues with Netflix too.
tl:dr - I've installed Megadanz ROM. Tried Burnkeytools (1.021 and 1.03), tried the tablet app without success and now I'm getting a window popping while Netflix is opening that says something about not being able to reach Netflix service.
Does anyone got some similar?
I don't know what else to do.
Almost trying this hacker stuff: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...5&postcount=12

The supported devices are listed in their site: https://devices.netflix.com/en/
The only thing we can do now is wait for HACKER here...hope they could make a CRACK for this.
KM9 or these other Android Boxes being discussed here ... most of them are not authorized.
They are all opycats developed by small and unknown brands.
Don't buy these cheapy box next time if you really need NETFLIX or other paid service.
You can go for FIRETV STICK 4K (2018) or MIBOX S.
They're doing promotion right now in Amazon and Walmart respectively at thirty something USD.

Unfortunately for us who live outside US, all that certified hardware like the Mi boxes, Shield or even Firestick are quite expensive when we have to convert US dollars to our money.

Fire tv 4k is slow when it comes to Kodi.
Mi Box S pixelates on 4K.
