II also ran into this, but I thought that this is a feature of the totalcommander with the /system partition. I found a temporary solution. Remember what rights are exposed to this file (most likely rwx-r-r), then try to copy this file to homedir and remove file from original location.Make the necessary changes in the file, which is located in the home folder, and then copy it back to its original location. Do not forget to return the rights to the file that were originally

it's quite normal you can't save it, use su command to get su priviledge, anyway why are not using totalcommander to do that? and what are you trying to do?

I want off sleep mode(box in deep sleep) root have, use total commander but error save

you should know that's not possible, totalcommander automatically, if su granted, remount vendor in RW mode to permit file saving.

total commander do this just if you try to overwrite a file.

Hi, just flashed this today not used it for long but so far so good, it runs really well , I had issue with homescreen app draw reseting after restart but fixed following info you sent to another user here, Also I think the sleep is fixed with stock if set to sleep it would auto power on again but havent tested it for long to be sure , Once i used it for longer will report back
One thing i noticed is that no option to start screensaver ? or set box to sleep if no activity

thanks a lot for your support and the report, i prepared a new version, just waiting for a new setting app to add the screen saver, because i used such slot for droidsetting in this version.
If i cannot solve for the new version, i'll found a way to preset the screensaver that is active by default anyway

Yeah just seen the screensaver come on I like setting time for box to go into standby if no activity not big deal though, also YouTube app works great now with stock ROM it would freeze using latest version of YouTube TV app so had to use S YouTube

Hi, just update after using for 1 day only issues I came across once you put the box on standby/sleep doesn't happen right away but after sometime the box won't come out of standby have to take out the power, so now I just set the power to shutdown when power is pressed

Can you add setting for box to shutdown instead of sleep if no activity ? Having it set to sleep would just give issue if sleep isn't fixed

I noticed the offical YouTube tv some videoes are scrambled in green with sound playing is this codec issue

other then that it's been running very well and stable

WIFI works fine when not using VPN also no issues with VPN enabled if using Ethernet

these are not big issues so can work around them and still much better using ATV then stock x96 max rom

Ignore the WIFI issue with VPN it just happened when not using VPN with WIFI, Seems to happen sooner when playing 4k on YouTube app
