Overall very good.
However, I have three problems.
1. The remote control does not work.
2. LED turns on even when power is turned off.
3. No sound from live channels.
1. it's normal these firmwares are not meant for your device so you need to replace the remote config in vendor/etc giving back 644 permissions then reboot
2. it's normal these firmwares are not meant for your device
3. that's odd but could be a driver issue, whick firmware have you flashed?

The firmware it's uploaded yet but i'll wait some private testers reports.
Update XTMOD Android TV 3
I hope it's the FINAL release, so should be a milestone.
So far what i've done:
- Fixed Android Tv remote App;
- Fixed Chromecast;
- Fixed Webview little bug;
- Fixed wrong link to Netflix app
- Removed Chrome in favor of Firefox for Android TV;
- Updated many Android Tv apps;
- Updated Magisk root to 18.1 and app to v 7; (reboot once to activate it)
- Standard Topbar and Navbar are present but not visible swipe up swipe down (some users asked me for that);
- as the previous version double click on home button brings up recent app;
- Reverted back remote behaviour to power off instead to sleep.
- Fixed AOSP keyboard disappearing on some languages;
- Generic.kl reverted to stock due some user complaining (i use an airmouse);
- Huge changing in framework...i used some dirty tricks... but it's better;
- Many things i forgot to note in the process.
What i cannot fix: X96 2/16 got a problem when using YoutubeTv app and streaming videos (the only way it's to use X96 4gb kernel) but you'll lose device lcd functions. It's not my fault but a amlogic bug.Last edited by Xannytech; 08 February 2019, 13:55.

I replaced the four files in the / vendor / etc folder.
(remote.cfg, remote.tab1, remote.tab2, remote.tab3)
However, there is no change in the operation of the remote control.
Are there any other files I need to replace?
Thank you.

Hello,
Would you mind to fix the not available screensaver settings in... settings?
It's there since its activity can be launched (.device.display.daydream.DaydreamActivity), but just not reachable from menu. Should be in display settings I think.
If not already fixed in upcoming v3, of course

Sent from my SM-C900F using Tapatalk
I won't support zip ota file because too much different firmwares are installed on users devices, and it's very complicated to write a script to check the device to avoid dangerous flashing errors, so that's my choice.
