I think it would be better in the K-R42 / CS918 / MK888 / Jesurun DX05 section. That's where all the other T-R42 posts are and I don't think that many people look here lol.

Did you say in the K-R42 thread that this will work on the K-R42 also? If so do we need to flash a different kernel after the rom or is the kernel compatible with both ?

this firmware is made for t-r42. It won't work on k-r42. Only cwm recovery which is included in this firmware, works both t-r42 and k-r42

Thanks for the ROM, wasser. I've just installed and immediately ran into an issue with wireless; as soon as I enable it the system crashes. It turns off completely and crashes trying to boot. I've had to perform a factory reset to get the device booting again.

I'll report back with any further issues I may encounter.

which hardware do you have? the firmware only works in t-r42. could you please post the dmesg log after you enable wifi in the settings?

To get the dmesg log you need to install terminal app and just do: su - && dmesg > dmesg.log

your log file does not include the dmes log what i need to debug. the build.prop included in your log file looks like from K-R42_HFW firmware! Please tell which hardware you have and which firmware you have flashed?

Hi wasser i have the T-R42 box,and i flashed K-R42_HFW and I flashed this kernel :http://d-h.st/Wn1
With this kernel everything should work with the HWF firmware and the T-R42 box right?
Anyways I`l flash your firmware and report my findings.

Here's my dmesg output (link in title of post).

PS: I am not able to provide the output after enabling WiFi, as the device crashes immediately. It will then refuse to boot until a factory reset is performed in CWM recovery.
