      XBMC Optical/Coaxial Passthrough

Does anyone here using this firmware and XBMC and is able to get Optical/Coaxial Passthrough working?

I am getting loud noise only when switching to Optical/Coaxial Passthrough in XBMC. I'm using XBMC Gotham Alpha 8 libmedia Edition 2013-10-04 version.

      Thanks

So I downloaded it and Updated the System.img (By hand with his code) for all to Use ...
All Thanks go to Wasser for his hard work and great Kernels...

So Here is The Step-By-Step :

        1) You MUST do these In Order and Do Them all or for some strange reason
        it does NOT work ...

        2) Install the Stock Firmware ... From First Post on this thread ....

        3) Reboot the System and Make sure it comes up ...

        4) Then Flash all of Wasser's Images ... From First Post on this thread ....
except replace his system.img with this one ...
        Link at bottom of post.

Then Restart Start the System and You should be ready to go ...
Wifi and Bluetooth and Ethernet all work fine ...

Thank you Wasser for all your Hard work ...

        Enjoy All

please try to disable "Wireless MAC Filter" on your wlan route, it doesn't work because the wifi connection gets random mac adress.

                    Hi first post here:
I'm downloading will test on a t-r42 clone? I have one labeled cs918 that uses ap6210 wifi.

                    Thanks.

                    Edit1:

Where does the flash_image go? (Flash tool)

                    Edit2:
Nevermind it's a bin file, didn't realize it as I was looking at in a XP vm.

If my procedure was correct then the wifi and eth is still not working.
                    My steps:
                    1. Flash the images from the first post of this thread.
                    2. Reboot and see if it works, and it does.
                    3. Re-flash just the content of the zip from post #68.

                    Didn't test the blutooth.

                              Hi Wasser,

Here are the steps I did:
                              1) Got into CWM
                              2) Backed up my current image
                              3) Installed t-r42-wasser-1.0 zip
                              4) Wiped data/factory reset
                              5) Wiped cached
                              6) Wiped Dalvik cached

                              Here is the result:
                              1) Wifi not working
                              2) Bluetooth not working
                              3) Ethernet not working
                              4) Sleep/Suspend options are not available/visible. Just the box default Power Off/Stand By/Reboot options are visible.

Looks like it is 720p Kernel. Please include 1080p Kernel as well.

                              Thanks.
